Woman ‘Farts’ Her Gender Reveal News & This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things

Gender reveals are no longer the small and simple celebrations they once used to be. Now, future parents plan elaborate parties, drawing large crowds of friends and family as they set off blue and pink explosives and livestream it on social media. It's no secret that these parties are getting out of hand; in fact, one recent gender reveal in Iowa even turned deadly. But perhaps none have been as bizarre as one involving a woman who decided to share the baby news by letting out a big ol' fart. (Yes, you read that right.)

The woman in question is YouTuber Paige Ginn, who is well known for her prank videos.

Gender Reveal

A post shared by Paige Ginn (@paigeginn) on

Ginn, who has been dubbed "That Girl Who Fake Falls" by the Internet, posted the video on Tuesday, Although the clip is only seven seconds long, it certainly packs a punch.

In it, Ginn lays pantsless on the ground in front of typical gender reveal party decorations — pink and blue party balloons.

But what gives this video its unique twist is the moment that Ginn lets one rip … and blue powder immediately explodes from her booty.

It's a … boy?

Many people who "caught wind" of the odd reveal thought it was freakin' hilarious.

"Honestly the best thing I’ve seen in a long time," one person wrote on Instagram, where Ginn also shared the video. "Can’t stop laughing. Thank you for this!!!"

"Literally the best thing I’ve seen on social media in SO long!!!" a second commenter wrote. "Congrats!!!"

"The amount of control you have over your rear end and what comes out of it is unparalleled," added another person, who could not sing higher praises. "That is some body control. To have the ability to force enough air out to create a puff of powder … YOU are a LEGEND."

Not everyone was a fan, though. The video definitely had some haters, which is probably to be expected.

"Okay um, wtf," one women wrote on Facebook, where the video has been viewed over 18 million times. "That’s a no for me."

"WTF AM I WATCHING," a second person commented.

"Eww," a third person wrote bluntly.

It's not entirely clear yet if the video is a real gender reveal or just one of her pranks, but either way you have to admit that it certainly was original. So we guess that counts for something?
