Astrology, Birth Charts, & Spring Rituals With the Momtourage Hosts

When it comes to birth charts and all things astrology, there are two kinds of people. The first is the ambivalent about astrology mom. Those are the moms who know their sign and maybe the sign of maybe one other person in their family. That is the extent of their astrological knowledge and interest. For those moms, the idea of birth charts is hella confusing. There are houses? And planets? And multiple signs in the mix? What? Can't we just call ourselves a Leo and move on with the day?

Then there are the hardcore astrology moms who know the day, the exact time of day, and the location of birth of everyone in their lives so they can figure out the birth charts and rising signs and all things astrologically related.

Those moms are going to love this week's episode of Momtourage (found in all the places where we listen to podcasts and presented by yours truly, CafeMom) that features a deep dive in to the upcoming spring equinox and the start of the astrological year (shout out to all the Aries, it is about to be your time to shine!).

The 'Momtourage' besties interviewed Amanda Mayr this week.

Amanda Mayr is all about breaking down birth charts and helping moms (and other folks) understand not only what their astrological profile means for them, but how their sun, moon, and rising signs might influence who they vibe with and how they approach mom life. As anyone who has more than one kid can attest, every kid needs a different kind of parenting. For Mayr, understanding a child's chart can help moms figure out what kind of support and energy a kid might need based on their star sign.

We suspect some folks will be busting out the birth certificates to get exact times to make a birth chart for which ever kid is driving them most crazy this week! Whatever works, right?

As always, the Momtourage ladies also have plenty to say about pop culture and the joys of being a woman (which may or may not include butt deodorant this week!), so catch the latest episode of Momtourage here!
