YouTuber Ms. Rachel Pokes Fun at Herself While Having Coffee With Hilarious Elyse Myers

Have you ever found yourself unable to walk away from your caretaking role? You know, being the person constantly changing diapers, spoon-feeding children, and praising someone for putting the laundry in the basket?

Maybe you've gone out to dinner and cut up another adult's steak or found yourself swaying back and forth while you're waiting in line at Target like you're holding a baby. It happens to the best of us. And truthfully, it can be pretty funny.

Rachel Griffin Accurso, better known as Ms. Rachel on YouTube, is an internet sensation whose upbeat songs and dances have little children in love. She has gone viral plenty of times with her "Songs For Littles," but her latest TikTok video isn't for kids. It's for moms and dads going through a parenting identity crisis.

Ms. Rachel has met her match.

Ms. Rachel paired up with the hilarious Elyse Myers, and together, they have gone viral, just being themselves. Myers is known for her deadpan looks while telling crazy and hysterically funny stories. Ms. Rachel, of course, is bubbly and happy.

In the new video, the two visit over a cup of coffee. Myers is enjoying it a bit less than Ms. Rachel. An overall-clad Ms. Rachel is singing a little ditty as she prepares her coffee.

As she dumps sugar in her coffee, she sings to Myers, "Put it in, put it in, put it …"

Put what in where?

Myers, known for her serious and blunt demeanor, looks at Ms. Rachel asks, "In?"

Ms. Rachel claps and sings "in" and tells Myers she did a good job, obviously proud of the very grown woman who put sugar in her coffee.

Myers assures her that it's just them and she can be Rachel. The Ms. Rachel thing can take a rest.

Next, we see a relieved Ms. Rachel, who agrees that she can just be herself and claps, "Yay!" She just can't let it go.

Parents can relate.

It is hard to take off the playful mom hat some days. We spend so much time trying to make little people happy that we forget that we can actually adult.

"This is how I feel when I'm talking to adults after being with my daughter all day. ," someone wrote.

"I'm cackling . cause the first time I heard this my mind went rated adult ," someone laughed.

"I don't know whether to be jealous that you're hanging out with Elyse or jealous of Elyse for hanging out with you. ," reads another comment.

It all started with a TikTok comment.

@elysemyers well this is certainly something I did not see happening in my lifetime. i'm on a billboard in Times Square for my podcast “Funny Cuz It’s True” it'll be up until Jan 26th - above the American Eagle at Broadway and 45th if anyone wants to go see it in person for me!! #FCIT ♬ Theme From New York, New York - 2008 Remastered - Frank Sinatra

In an interview with Today Parents, Accurso said Myers posted on TikTok that she was considering visiting New York City to see a billboard advertising her podcast, Funny Cuz It's True. Accurso reached out to Myers in the comments.

"I said in a TikTok comment that she should come to New York City to see it and also be on 'Songs For Littles' while she's here," Accurso explained.

The comment got a lot of likes, which caught Myers' attention, and the two ended up getting together. They filmed an episode for "Songs for Littles" about making friends, along with a few social media videos.

Accurso said that it was all for fun.

Although the world knows her as Ms. Rachel, she is a mom and a person too, and she realizes that some things about her career can be a bit silly.

"It pokes fun at me and how when you're home all day with kids it's hard to switch to adult mode, which I think parents really relate to," she said via Today. "You end up accidentally talking to grown ups like they are kids."

The video has amassed more than 15 million views, and followers hope this isn't the last they've seen of the two superstars together.

"this is what crossover dreams are made of ," someone wrote.

"The collab I didn't know I needed ," someone agreed.

Just like the rest of TikTok, we are here for this. And the next time you two sit down for a cup of coffee, we are in!
