Husband Gives Wife a Birthday Cake Shaped Like Her Favorite Thing: A Giant Amazon Package

Emily McGuire admits she's a frequent and "proud" Amazon shopper. The photographer and mom of three tells CafeMom that she receives an average of two to three "lovely brown Amazon boxes" a week — and gets giddy over every one of them. Heck, she's even been known to occasionally hide a few from her husband Waylon (aka "Mac"), who's well aware of her shopping habit.

He's so aware, in fact, that when Emily's birthday was approaching one year, Mac had the perfect idea: He ordered a custom cake from a bakery that was made to look exactly like one of her beloved Amazon packages. Needless to say, it was a big hit.

The custom creation arrived looking very much like one of her weekly orders — complete with a personalized shipping label and Amazon Prime tape!

The cake, which was truly a sight to behold, was made by the talented team at Sweet Dreams Bakery in Dunn, North Carolina, and it did not disappoint. It was honestly flawless. Plus, "it was delicious!" Mac tells CafeMom.

When she first laid eyes on the cake, Emily says her response was 'pure laughter.'

"In that moment, I knew my husband 'gets me,'" she says.

He definitely does. And apparently, so do thousands of other women across the internet. It must have made her feel completely awesome to see how well her husband really does know her.

It's since racked up nearly 30,000 likes, and lots of shares and comments, many of which have come from fellow moms who nurse a not-so-secret Amazon package addiction too.

"I need this," wrote one woman. "I seriously have a package coming every day this week and two more before the 31st."

Fellow Amazon shoppers are feeling so seen.

"That cake has my name written all over it!" another woman wrote in response to the cake.

"All fun and games until you sleepwalk and start chewing on a cardboard box thinking it’s a cake," joked someone else.

Emily admits the cake's viral fame took her by surprise.

"It’s been insane!" says the military mom, who runs her own photography business, Emily McGuire Photography. Still, it's nice to see that so many others out there can relate to her unmatched love for Amazon.

We're willing to bet bakers have gotten a LOT of calls for similar creations since pictures of Emily's cake took social media by storm. Kudos to Mac for knocking it out of the park on this cake! It's definitely one that will never be forgotten.
