The relationship between celebrities and paparazzi is often an antagonistic one. Many celebrities resent the intrusion of paparazzi on their personal space because it can compromise their ability to work or live their lives. It can even threaten their safety. Ben Affleck is incredibly popular in his own right, but thanks to his relationship with Jennifer Lopez, he's been in the headlines more than ever over the past few years — especially now that their marriage is rumored to be not the dream second chance romance they thought it would be. So when the paparazzi recently caught Ben in front of the home he shares with his wife, he wasn’t exactly happy to see them.

Ben was just trying to leave his house.
TMZ shared a video of Ben having an argument with paparazzi over the weekend at the home that she shares with Jennifer Lopez. The paparazzi wouldn’t stop taking pictures of Ben while he was in his car, and the flashes were making it difficult for him to drive. He became so frustrated that he reversed his car and got out to say something.
Apparently, the photographers were undeterred.
“Listen, man, you’re going to get me in an accident,” Ben was heard saying in the video to the photographers. “Don’t flash your lights as I’m driving down the driveway.”
The photographers didn’t seem to heed Ben’s warnings, and they continued to snap photos of him even as he tried to reason with them and get them to stop.
They just kept coming at him.
“Don’t do that. That’s dangerous. You don’t even know if that’s me,” Ben implored the paparazzi. “You could cause an accident.”
Again, they didn’t seem to care about what Ben was saying, and one person began taking pictures, which made Ben really angry. “Stop, man. It’s dangerous what you guys are doing. Do you understand?” he asked.

Ben was spending time with his one of his children.
“I can’t see. You’re going to get somebody hurt doing this s—. Jesus Christ, my daughter’s coming down here,” Ben pleaded. “If you flash your lights on her, you’re putting her in danger. Do you understand that?”
Ben was likely talking about his eldest daughter Violet, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Violet, who recently graduated high school, and Ben were spotted out together the day before the run-in with the photogs.
Jennifer Lopez is currently not staying at the house with Ben.
Noticeably missing from the home is J.Lo, who is currently on a solo vacation in Europe as rumored tensions mount in their marriage. When she was in the US, she was staying in the home while Ben stayed at a rental.
The couple is also reportedly selling the home, even though it took them a long time to find it. Apparently, the giant house is too much of a hassle — it’s too big, and not in the best location for the pair.
