Chrissy Teigen has some parenting advice when it comes to dealing with the Tooth Fairy. Mindy Kaling shared a photo on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, on her Instagram of a letter that her 6-year-old daughter, Kit, wrote to the Tooth Fairy. "Dear Tooth Fairy, Please take my tooth!! Love, Kit," the note read, dated for two days before the post. Mindy is seen sitting on Kit's bed with the letter in her lap as the young girl writes the pleading note. "Please take my tooth!!" Mindy captioned the post.

Here's the advice Chrissy gave.
In response to Mindy's post, Chrissy left a piece of advice for all the mamas to use. "If you forget, and I always do, there is a sweet letter online where she talks about how busy she was the night before lol," the 38-year-old model wrote.
Mindy, along with other moms, responded.
"So many teeth on so many children," the 45-year-old actress wrote back.
Other moms also replied to Chrissy's comment. "Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear designer ♥️," one person commented.
"In our house, the tooth fairy starts here rounds at 5pm," another person wrote. "So if you lose a tooth after that, you're on the next day's rotation."

Other users commented on the post.
"Hope the tooth fairy delivered! ," the Sharpie Instagram account also commented.
"After too many forgotten fairy visits and me writing teeny tiny apology letters with glitter and teeny footprints, etc," one mother shared, "I finally admitted to my kid that I was the tooth fairy. Then she proceeded to tell all of her friends that there was no tooth fairy, prompting calls from angry mothers. ."
Mindy just recently gave birth to another baby.
In June 2024, Mindy shared that she'd quietly welcomed her third child, Anne, in late February. "She’s the best birthday present I could’ve ever imagined. When things are hard, whenever I veer towards cynicism, my three kids are such a great reminder of the pure joy in my life. I’m so lucky I live in a place where I could do this by myself, on my own timeline," she wrote in her post. She also has a 3-year-old son named Spencer.
She believes it takes a village to raise children.
Although Mindy, who is a single mom, has never identified the father of her children, she does have help when it comes to her babies. In a 2021 interview with People, she said that "it absolutely takes a village" when it comes to raising children.
