Joe Jonas Files To Dismiss Sophie Turner Divorce Case After Reaching Custody Agreement

After several weeks of what felt like nonstop divorce drama, it seems all is finally calm between Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas. On Thursday, Joe filed to dismiss the divorce case against Sophie in Miami after they were able to reach a temporary custody agreement through mediation, and it sounds like they're both ready to move on from what must have been a very stressful month. Still, it doesn't seem like all the drama is dying down when it comes to one of Sophie's former sisters-in-law …

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Joe filed to dismiss the divorce case that was set to go to trial in 2024 after he and Sophie were able to come to a temporary agreement about the custody of their children, 1-year-old Delphine and 3-year-old Willa.

After four days of mediation, they've agreed that the children will spend time in the UK and the US — about two weeks at a time with each parent.

The arrangement is set through January 7, 2024.

The kids will spend Thanksgiving with Joe and Christmas with Sophie, Page Six reported.

"After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents," they shared in a statement to the news outlet.

They confirmed their divorce last month.

After rumors that their marriage was coming to an end, Sophie and Joe confirmed the news with a joint statement shared on social media that read, "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

The divorce proceedings have seemed pretty messy so far, but fortunately, it sounds like all of that may be behind them — at least for now.

There may still be a bit of behind-the-scenes drama brewing, though.

On Friday, Page Six reported that Priyanka Chopra, who is married to Nick Jonas, has unfollowed Sophie on social media, and whatever beef there is seems to be mutual, because Sophie has also unfollowed Priyanka.

Sophie's still following Nick, Kevin, and Kevin's wife, Danielle, though. Hmm …

Joe and Sophie plan to handle further resolution outside of court.

In the filing that Joe submitted Wednesday, he stated that he and Sophie will attempt to "pursue an amicable resolution of all issues" and will "engage in further mediation" of the other issues pertaining to their divorce.

Here's hoping that things go smoothly from here on out.
