It’s been years since Collin Gosselin lived under the same roof as his siblings, and unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like he’s any closer to having a relationship with them again. In recent weeks, Collin — who is the son of former reality stars Jon and Kate Gosselin — has been sharing more and more about his life today on social media, and when he went live on TikTok on Wednesday, he said that he and his siblings might as well be strangers.
Admitting that the subject is “just not something that is easy for me to talk about,” Collin opened up about where he and his siblings stand now that they are all grown up.
“Unfortunately, I don’t talk to my siblings, and I very much wish that we did and that they knew who I actually was because we don’t know each other at all,” he said.
There is one sibling he’s still close with, though: Hannah, who he has been close with after their dad, Jon, was awarded custody of them both as teenagers.
“I do still talk to Hannah,” Collin said. “I actually just texted her today, you know, she’s in college doing her thing. I always say, though, Hannah’s just very like living the life, you know, like having fun, always doing something, so we catch up when we can.”
He also said that he’s not sure if his estranged siblings are watching his TikTok content, but just in case they are, he sees his account as “a journal to make videos and hope that they see them.”
This isn’t the first time that Collin has mentioned his siblings on TikTok. Earlier this month, he shared a video about being separated from his siblings even though they were “born to be a team.”
“Forced apart, pitted against each other. All the fame and money in the world, but what about kids being kids?” Collin wrote in the caption of the video. “I will always love them more than anything. The tears I shed behind closed doors, thinking about the memories we could’ve shared. I love you guys.”
So far, none of Jon and Kate’s other children seem to have responded to Collin’s messages, but maybe now that he’s putting himself out there, one of them will decide to make the connection soon.
