Kim Kardashian Slammed for Letting 12-Year-Old North Dress ‘Too Adult’ in Corset & Miniskirt

Kim Kardashian has always been all about letting her oldest daughter, North West, explore her own style, but is she letting things go too far this time? That’s what some fans seem to think after 12-year-old North was spotted out and about with her mom in Rome this week wearing a corset and a miniskirt. North seems to feel confident in her bold look, but a lot of people are giving Kim side-eye for letting her wear this outfit at her age …

On Saturday, North and Kim were photographed leaving the restaurant Pierluigi after having dinner, and the mother/daughter duo most certainly turned heads. While Kim was dressed in a low cut black dress, North wore a black corset top paired with a miniskirt, her bright blue hair in long pigtails. She accessorized with glasses and a matching black purse.

North also showed off her outfit in a TikTok video, which she posted on the account that she shares with her mom earlier this week.

The comments on Kim and North’s TikTok account are turned off, but that hasn’t stopped people from weighing in on the preteen’s outfit on X, and people really aren’t holding back this time.

“Not saying Kanye was the perfect parent … but this is exactly what Kanye was worried would happen,” one person wrote. “Why is Kim letting a 12 year old wear a corset? North looks like a grown woman.”

Another person wrote, “I love how North expresses herself through her fashion and I think she’s a really cool kid but at 12 she has no business wearing corsets.”

So far, Kim has yet to respond to the backlash, but in the past, she’s always been supportive of how passionately her daughter feels about fashion — even if it means North sometimes criticizes her own mom’s looks!

“North is very opinionated when it comes to what I’m wearing,” Kim said at the Vogue Forces of Fashion conference in 2022. “She’ll always complain when I’m wearing too much black.”
