Kris Jenner may have been celebrating her 70th birthday over the weekend, but the party was still a total rager. According to TMZ, police were called to the party multiple times over the course of the evening, but fortunately, it sounds like none of the issues were enough to put a stop to the celebrations — for the birthday girl or for her A-list guests.
Kris’ birthday bash took place Saturday night.
As People reported, Kris’ birthday party featured a James Bond theme and was held at Jeff Bezos‘ Beverly Hills estate on Saturday. Like many Kardashian parties of the past, this one was also put together by celebrity planner Mindy Weiss, and sources close to the family say that it’s been in the works for months.
“It was just all about celebrating Kris,” the insider said. “And it was everything you’d expect from Kris: over-the-top, glamorous and full of love from her family. It was obvious that she had the best night.”
Police were called over multiple disturbances.
TMZ reported that cops were first called to the residence over noise disturbances — apparently, Bruno Mars’ live performance at the party really carried. The party was only issued a warning to the security team who was guarding the event at that point, but police returned later when large fake hedges had been placed outside of the Bezos’ property without a permit and were blocking traffic.
It doesn’t seem to have dulled the sparkle for Kris.
On Instagram, Kris shared photos from the evening, gushing about how much she loved the celebration, revealing that her red dress was designed by Alexander McQueen for Givenchy.
“Magical night celebrating my 70th birthday with beautiful family and friends,” she wrote in her caption.
The party included a star-studded guest list.
Along with Kris’ famous family members, the event was stacked with Hollywood A-listers. Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, and Martha Stewart were all there to celebrate Kris, along with Tyler Perry, Adele, and Kathy and Paris Hilton — and that’s just scratching the surface.
Members of the royal family were at the bash, too; Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were photographed arriving at the party that evening.
It sounds like Kris really started her 70th year the right way … but honestly, did anyone expect anything less?
