‘Traumatized’ Mom Watched Her 2 Kids Be Shot & Killed Alongside 2 Men in Shocking Murder-Suicide

An Ohio mother is grieving after the unexpected loss of her family in a shocking murder-suicide. Her husband, Ryan Eagon, shot and killed her two young children, along with the father of her older child. The woman, who has not been named by police to protect her privacy, witnessed the entire thing. There are no words to describe what an experience like that must feel like for a mother. Now, she is forced to go on living after her entire life has been destroyed.

On November 19, 2025, around 6:24 p.m., officers from the Tiffin Police Department responded to reports of a shooting and “screaming,” the department shared in a news release. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered multiple victims with gunshot wounds.

The mother was at the home of her husband, 42-year-old Eagon, attempting to remove her belongings while Eagon was supposed to be out of town for work, the release noted. She was assisted by 29-year-old Dustin Willey, the father of her 7-year-old child. Her 7-month-old child was also at the home.

According to police, the woman and Willey were inside the house when they heard the older child scream, WOIO reported. They rushed out to find Eagon in the driveway.

Witnesses told police that Eagon immediately began chasing Willey before firing multiple shots. He then shot both of the children before shooting at Willey again. Eagon then shot himself once.

Police said the woman was “clearly in a state of shock, overwhelmed, and visibly traumatized” after the incident, WOIO reported.

She carried her children back into the home before police showed up, the news release noted. Police officers and Tiffin Fire and Rescue first responders rendered aid at the scene before taking Willey to the hospital.

Ryan Eagon and the 7-month-old were declared dead at the scene, and Willey died of his injuries at the hospital. The 7-year-old boy was also taken to the hospital, where he later died.

“As a community, we are not accustomed to events of this horrific and heartbreaking nature in Tiffin. I ask that all residents keep the victims’ families in their thoughts as they face unimaginable loss,” Tiffin Police Chief David Pauly said in a statement shared by WOIO. “I also ask that our community keep the responding officers, firefighters, dispatchers, emergency medical personnel, and all others involved in their thoughts as they continue to process the emotional toll of this tragedy.”

Meanwhile, those close to Dustin Willey are remembering him as a “good father” who “would do anything” for his son. “He just showed what it’s like to be a single dad and that he was going to be a part of his life,” his former boss, Kelly Gallagher, told WTVG.

“We’re all just trying to process it, especially that it happened to children — even worse,” she continued. “It’s tragic because especially when you find out, it happened to somebody who’s got the biggest heart. Is the kindest person. Would do anything for anybody. It’s kind of like losing a family member.”

A GoFundMe account has been started by Carrie Greene, who identified herself as the boys’ grandmother and mother to the woman who saw the killings. “On the night of November 19, 2025, our family experienced a tragedy beyond anything we could have imagined,” she wrote, adding the boys “were taken from us in a horrific act of domestic violence.”

Greene explained on the fundraiser that her daughter needs “extensive trauma and mental health support” after the incident. She also “will be unable to return to work for the foreseeable future.”

An investigation into the killings is ongoing.
