What to Know
Kansas City Chiefs players Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are known for having each other’s backs both on the field and off… and sometimes, that kind of friendship means making fun of each other from time to time.
After the Chiefs won at Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Travis did his best Patrick impression while talking to reporters, cracking fans up in the process.
Travis mocked Patrick’s voice in a new video.

When Travis was asked about the game going into overtime, he responded in his own version of Patrick’s voice.
“Ah, man, you just believe, you just believe every snap,” Travis said. His impression was so spot on that if you close your eyes, it’s almost like Patrick is talking instead of Travis. He must have plenty of practice with this.
He did make sure to praise his teammate, too.
Travis’ response wasn’t just about mocking his teammate; he was also sure to give Patrick credit for his performance in the game that led to the team’s win, calling him their “fearless leader.”
“That guy is the most competitive human being I know, and we love him for how he leads this team both on the field in practice throughout the week and right now, man,” Travis said. “He’s leading us into victory, man. It’s the best.”
This isn’t the first time Travis has showed off his impression skills.

Back in September, ESPN shared a video on TikTok of Travis and Patrick answering questions at a press conference together, and when it was Travis’ turn to speak, he chose to use Patrick’s voice instead of his own. At the time, Travis said it was revenge for Patrick “telling everyone I didn’t know where Brazil was on a map.”
In the past, Patrick has spoken to reporters about his distinctive voice.
“People have made fun of my voice for my entire life, so I’ve gotten used to it,” Patrick said in 2022. “It’s like the joke that keeps giving, so I’ve heard it all. I’ve heard the Kermit the Frog, I’ve heard the smoking cigarettes … whatever it is, it’s unique, so maybe I’ll get a deal from that, from having a unique voice.”
At this point, Patrick seems to be used to the teasing, and it doesn’t sound like it’s going to end anytime soon, so it’s a good thing he has kept a good sense of humor about it.
