4-Year-Old Brutally Humbles Mom While Judging Her Old School Photos

As adults, we learn how to be tactful and tell polite white lies, but when it comes to kids, all bets are off. If you’re a parent yourself or you spend a lot of time around kids, you already know that they basically have zero filter. If they’re thinking it, it’s probably going to pop out of their mouth, whether you asked for their opinion or not.

Now, one 4-year-old girl’s moment of brutal honesty is going viral after her mom shared what happened when she found her old school photos. She is really telling it like it is, and other moms can relate.

Mom shared how the moment unfolded in a video on Instagram.

In the video shared by mom Sadie Clements, we see her daughter examining a picture she found from her mom’s senior year of high school.

“Do I still look like that?” her mom asks, to which her daughter replies, “No, not really.”

This is where she went wrong, and things took a turn. She asked her little girl what’s different about her then vs. now, to which she bluntly responded, “Well, you just look pretty in this picture. But now you’re not.”

Hey, she asked!

Fellow parents could totally relate to this moment.

The comments are filled with messages from so many parents who have been there themselves. When it comes to little kids, you can really never guess what’s going to come out of their mouths next.

“No one will humble you quicker than a 4 year old girl,” one commenter wrote — too real. It’s a brutal year (but don’t worry, they do become sweeter as they get older).

“No one prepares you for the way your daughter will casually roast you on a daily basis,” another chimed in, which is also very true. They are experts at that.

Another mom shared her response when her kids say something like this: “Oh, that’s so sweet honey. Everyone says you look just like me.”

Actually, that’s kind of genius…

It happens to all of us eventually.

Being a mom is not for the weak, and these kids sure know to get the best of us!

But for what it’s worth, this mom is still pretty, even if she doesn’t look like she did in high school (because honestly, none of us do). That 4-year-old is just being a bully!
