What to Know
It feels like we were all just watching Beyoncé reveal that she was pregnant with her first child at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, so how is it possible that baby in her belly is already a teenager?! Watching Blue Ivy grow and change over the years has been pretty cool, and now, there’s no denying it — she’s officially morphing into her mother.
After photos from Blue’s basketball outing with dad Jay-Z surfaced this week, people can’t stop talking about the transformation she’s made. Even though she was once the spitting image of her dad, now, Blue definitely looks exactly like her mom.
Blue Ivy and Jay-Z enjoyed a daddy/daughter outing on Wednesday.

As People reported, Blue Ivy and her dad took in a basketball game on December 10, sitting court side as the Los Angeles Lakers played the San Antonio Spurs. Blue, who is now 13, dressed to impress in a leather Balenciaga motorcycle jacket with cargo jeans and wedge sneakers.
She looks so grown up, but even more than that, people couldn’t stop noticing just how much she looks like her mom these days.

Fans simply cannot get over the fact that Blue looks exactly like her mom.
On Reddit, commenters couldn’t stop talking about what a mini-Beyoncé Blue is — especially since she looked so much like her dad in her younger kid years, with one even calling her “Beytwice.” Okay, that one was clever.
Others feel like she’s a more balanced version of both of her parents’ genetics.
“She looked so much like Jay when she was born. It was wild. But I can see it in her eyes now,” one fan wrote. “She’s like a little replica of Bey at that age. But her nose and mouth is still her dad.”
Another agreed, “I’ve rarely seen anyone so clearly the child of both their parents.”
How did she grow up so fast?!
Aside from the comments about her family resemblance, people were stuck on just how fast Blue has grown up.
“I remember when she was a tiny baby,” one wrote. “Sure, I turned 40 less than a month ago, but that doesn’t mean anything. It’s still 2003, I am newly 18 and wearing a tiny skirt with fishnet tights, and the worst thing I can imagine happening is not passing my A levels.”
It’s not just that Blue looks more like her mom as she grows — she’s also following in her footsteps in so many other ways, including her performances on the Renaissance tour. Something tells us that she’s going to do even bigger things in the future, especially with her mom by her side.
