What to Know
Have you ever fantasized about becoming famous and seeing yourself pop up as a clue on Jeopardy!? For so many celebrities, it feels like you’ve finally made it when you see your name appear during in a trivia question during the long-running game show. For Kylie Kelce, that doesn’t really seem to be the case. On a recent episode of Jeopardy!, Kylie was the answer to a clue that may or may not have gone unanswered by the three contestants. Did it bother Kylie that her name and podcasting career may not be as well known as one might think? The answer may surprise you.
Kylie Kelce was a clue on a recent episode of ‘Jeopardy!’.
On the May 7 episode of her podcast, Not Gonna Lie, Kylie Kelce shared a short clip that showed her appearing as a clue on the April 28 episode of Jeopardy!
The clue read: “Debuting in 2024, Not Gonna Lie stars this future sister-in-law of Taylor Swift.” Even though Taylor Swift was mentioned, which might immediately tip a lot of people off if they’re a Swiftie, all three players could not answer the question.
After Kylie shared the clip, she told her podcast listeners, “Exactly! Nobody knew it. And that is how I like it. OK? This was a great reference point. People shouldn’t know who I am.”
What’s that now? She actually prefers anonymity? That feels a bit odd considering her job and her husband’s career.
As a ‘Jeopardy!’ fan, Kylie’s dad was very excited to see his daughter’s name used as a clue.
Kylie also shared on her podcast that some of her followers had actually DMed her to let her know that one of the contestants was from Philadelphia, which did not increase her chances of people knowing her name. “I think that people were telling me that as if to be like, everyone from Philadelphia should know you. Wrong,” she said.
Funnily enough, Kylie shared that her dad is “randomly good at Jeopardy!” and he was the one who showed her the clip. “My dad was very excited to see it. He was watching ‘Jeopardy!’ at home by himself when it happened,” she shared.
He actually ran out to tell her the news when she was dropping her mom off at home. “He came bolting out the front door and showed me the video … in my face and said, ‘You gotta see this.’ And I was like, ‘OK. …Perfect. Perfect. Perfect,'” she said. That’s a pretty sweet story.
A lot of people in the Instagram comments couldn’t believe no one knew Kylie’s name on the show.

People in her Instagram comments were quick to jump to Kylie’s defense because they really couldn’t believe that no one got the clue on the show, especially considering that Not Gonna Lie is a #1 podcast.
One individual in the comments section said, “It would have been the only answer I knew on that show.” Another person shared their sense of enthusiasm by stating, “The way I was screaming KYLIE KELCE at my tv like I was the one playing.” Too funny.
Another person couldn’t help but commend the charity work Kylie has done in Philadelphia over the years. “Girl, you do a lot for the community in Philly, including but not limited to, amazing work for autism and women’s equality. People should ABSOLUTELY know you,” they wrote.
For those who feel like they really know Kylie, they thought it was pretty cool that she wants to remain fairly anonymous. “What is even more cool? I actually believe you! Like that is how awesome you are,” one person shared. Another individual appeared to be cracking up at the thought. “Kylie’s dream is for no one to know who she is 😂 I love this so much,” they commented.
From what we’ve learned thus far about the podcast host, not wanting to be famous does seem pretty on brand for Kylie Kelce.
