Ivanka Trump Was Allegedly Targeted for Assassination & the Motive Goes Back 6 Years

Did Iran really have a plot to assassinate Ivanka Trump? Well, according to the New York Post, the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had a “twisted plot” in place to take out the daughter of President Donald Trump.

The Post did not name its sources, but it reported that the IRGC trained a terrorist to kill Ivanka.

The outlet reported that Mohammad Baqer Sadd Dawood Al-Saadi, 32, was recently captured and that led to the discovery that he made a “pledge” to kill Ivanka Trump. The Post said that its sources said that Al-Saadi even had a blueprint of her home in Florida.

According to the report, the current war in Iran was not Al-Saadi’s main motivation. Instead, he is accused of wanting to assassinate Ivanka Trump as revenge for the U.S. killing former Iranian military chief Qasem Soleimani in a drone strike six years ago.

Entifadh Qanbar, a former deputy military attaché in the Iraqi embassy in Washington, told the Post that Al-Saadi “went around telling people, ‘we need to kill Ivanka to burn down the house of Trump the way he burned down our house.’”

The report had social media stirring.

“Unless you have your own stealth bombers, maybe it’s a bad idea to plot to murder the President’s daughter,” Mike Davis wrote on X.

“We’ve just learned of the horrifying plot to assassinate @IvankaTrump — a devoted wife, daughter, mother, & someone with no personal quarrel with the Iranian regime,” Rep. Anna Paulina Luna wrote on X. “She was targeted to bring pain to her father & to her husband.

“There is nothing more sick and demented than that.”

“Part of me wants to go to sleep, but then I feel like if I sleep I will miss the Iranian regime getting glassed for threatening to assassinate @IvankaTrump,” Laura Loomer wrote. “Tough decisions.”

Donald Trump has yet to comment on the report.
