This is just the latest news from the lawsuit.
Tony Webb, a security guard who worked with Angelina from 2000 to 2020 and now works for Brad, provided a 12-page statement submitted to the Los Angeles County courts by Brad's team. In the statement, Tony detailed a conversation he had with Michael Vieira, who works for Angelina. In the conversation, Michael let him know that two security guards from Webb's company might be subpoenaed to testify in the couple's custody battle. Now, four of the former couple's six kids are 18 or older.
These testimonies could be revealing.
"I explained to Mr. Vieira that I had no power to stop them because they were independent contractors and not employees," Webb explained. Michael tried to tell Tony that because the two security guards had signed NDAs, Angelina could sue them.
"One of the two individuals, Ross Foster, specified that he intended to testify regardless of the NDA, if he received a court subpoena," Tony explained. "When Mr. Foster told me this, he also told me that if asked, he would testify about statements he overheard that Ms. Jolie made to the children, encouraging them to avoid spending time with Mr. Pitt during custody visits."
This all comes down to one thing.

Brad's team got the statement from Tony for one reason: to prove that Angelina has an understanding of NDAs and how they work. The documents are a sticking point in their lawsuit. Brad wanted Angelina to sign an NDA in 2021 as part of his attempt to buy her half of the vineyard, which was the deal they had reportedly made.

Brad's lawyers are trying to mount a case against Angelina.
"Her hook is to allege that she was justified in terminating an imminent deal for Pitt to purchase her interest in Château Miraval, and in doing so breach her obligations not to sell to a stranger without his consent, because Pitt’s lawyers asked for an NDA to be included in the deal papers," Brad's lawyers wrote to the court.
They also accused Angelina of creating a "ploy to turn this business dispute into a sideshow about family court matters."
Angelina isn't having it.
Angelina is fighting back against Brad's team, claiming that Brad wants to use NDAs to keep her from speaking out about his alleged abuse.
"This case is not about NDAs in general, but about power and control," Angelina's lawyer, Paul Murphy, said in a statement that was shared by People. "All Angelina has ever wanted was separation and health, with positive relationships between all members of their family, including Mr. Pitt. She looks forward to the day when he is finally able to let her go."
