Anna Duggar & Her Kids Visit Josh ‘Regularly’ at the Federal Prison Where He Serves Time

It might be a long haul from Arkansas, but Anna Duggar is frequently in Texas, visiting husband Josh behind bars — and she brings all seven of her children with her. According to a source close to the situation, Anna "regularly" visits Josh in prison with their children, so the recent sighting wasn't just a one-time thing.

Anna was recently seen with her kids outside of the prison.

Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball shared photos and intel she received of Anna and her children visiting Josh sometime before the Christmas holidays in December — and Anna even had her youngest, Madyson Lily, in tow.

Supposedly, things have been frosty between Anna and Josh lately after everything that's gone down, but it sounds like that hasn't stopped her from making the drive and visiting him on a regular basis.

Anna is there 'fairly regularly.'

Someone who also has a family member who is incarcerated at FCI Seagoville told The Sun that Anna and her children seem to be a regular fixture on visitation days.

"We've seen Anna at visitation fairly regularly. I've spoken to Anna a couple of times," the person said. "Normally the only thing I've seen is Anna and then their kids, I don't really know anybody else."

Visiting isn't easy.

According to what the source told The Sun, the prison doesn't make it easy on visiting family members. It sounds like the rules about what is acceptable for visitors to do and to wear are constantly changing, and sometimes, they end up "waiting for hours" after they arrive before they can go in.

"There's always a delay. A couple of weeks back, they said that the electricity was down," the source said. "It goes in and out all the time so they use it as an excuse to make us wait for a couple of hours before we could get in."

It doesn't sound very pleasant for the inmates or their families.

"Sometimes there's food in the vending machines, but often it'll go for weeks at a time with nothing. It's very uncomfortable," the insider said. "Partners are allowed to have a kiss and a hug at the beginning and the end of visitation. Up until a couple of weeks ago they actually allowed inmates and visitors to hold hands. It was really lovely."

Now, it sounds like "lovely" isn't quite the word Anna would use to describe the experience (as if an eight-hour drive each way with seven children in the car wasn't already challenging enough).

Anna could be keeping this up for many years.

If she plans to continue to visit Josh regularly, these drives are going to continue to get more and more familiar to her. He's not set to be released until August 12, 2032 … just shy of 10 years from now.

We hope someone in her family is helping her out with gas money. That can't be cheap! Maybe her hope to move to Texas sometime in the near future is starting to look better to her and Josh after all.
