Now that Audrey Roloff is settling into life as a mom of four after the arrival of her daughter, Mirabella, who was born in May, she's sharing an update about her postpartum experience so far. Along with new photos she's taken during this time — with and without her newborn — the former Little People, Big World star opened up about how different things are for her this time around, including her energy levels. Somehow, this mama is surviving without caffeine!

Audrey shared new photos this week, including pics of Mirabella.
In her lengthy caption, she got real about what this time has been like, two months after welcoming her fourth baby, including one surprising difference: Her energy levels. Many new moms are a special level of exhausted they didn't even realize existed before their baby arrived, but not Audrey.
"My energy this time around postpartum has been surprisingly high," she wrote. "And this is my first postpartum not drinking coffee (unless it’s 1/3 caff). I think it’s due to a multitude of things… some which I had no control over and some that I was intentional about."
She went on to share a few of the reasons why she thinks her energy levels are so high.
On her list of things she believes helped in this department: "sunshine, grounding, big breakfasts, being outside," and "mushroom extracts."
"I also stayed mostly in bed the first 10 days as much as possible and I think being intentional about that rest period really helped me recover super fast instead of dragging it out," she added.
That sounds like the ideal postpartum situation!

There's one thing she is struggling with, though: Major brain fog.
"I’m so forgetful and easily distracted and I’ve been doing the strangest things like putting my phone in the fridge and leaving restaurants and forgetting to pay (don’t worry I go back)," she wrote.
That sounds rough, but there's no doubt plenty of fellow moms out there can relate. Pregnancy brain doesn't always end when the pregnancy does.
Mirabella was born on May 23.
Audrey shared the news with her Instagram followers a few days later, on May 27, sharing photos from her home water birth. Even her three older children, Ember, 6, Bode, 4, and Radley, 2, were able to be there to welcome their new baby sister into the world.
"It was my dream birth and so many things I had prayed for and envisioned for months leading up came to fruition," Audrey wrote at the time.
Since then, she's been sharing regular updates on how her family is adjusting.
In June, Audrey wrote, "I LOVE labor and birth (cannot wait to tell you her wild birth story!) and have great pregnancies, but that first week after birth is a doozy."
So far, it sounds like her postpartum experience might be turning out better than she expected. It will only get better from here.
