Britney Spears Has Finally Reunited With Mom Lynne After Years of Feuding

Sources say that Britney Spears has finally had a face-to-face meeting with her mother, Lynne Spears, after years of very public fighting. And it's not just that they finally saw each other again, either — it also seems like Brit actually allowed her into her home. Here's everything we know about the meetup.

Lynne flew into LAX to meet with her daughter.

TMZ reports that photographers caught images of Lynne flying into Los Angeles on Wednesday. The mother of three left the airport and went straight to the home of Britney's manager, Cade Hudson.

After a brief stop there, she reportedly called an Uber and headed to her estranged daughter's house.

Britney was expecting her mom.

According to a source who spoke with TMZ, Britney was aware that her mom planned to fly in for a visit. She just didn't know exactly when the meetup was going to go down.

The sources went on to say that things had been getting better between the mother-daughter duo recently and the pair had been in touch.

Sam Asghari was there when two women finally got together.

Lynne's new son-in-law was at the house when she arrived. TMZ says that Sam was with Lynne and Britney for the duration of the visit, which lasted about 30 minutes.

After the brief meetup, Lynne left, and Sam and Britney drove around the neighborhood for a while before returning home.

Britney has blamed her mother for the conservatorship that kept her a prisoner for 13 years.

Ever since a judge granted Britney freedom from the conservatorship agreement put in place by her father, Jamie Spears, Britney has rallied against her family and anyone else she believes played a part in creating the arrangement.

A lot of that blame has fallen on her mother, who Britney said helped Jamie put the wheels in motion and then sat by as he took over her physical and financial care.

Maybe this means Britney and her mom have finally started to repair their relationship.

Considering Britney has lost her relationship with almost everyone around her — either because she had to cut ties with them as part of her conservatorship or because she pushed them away for the role they played in taking away her freedom — it would be nice for her to be able to have at least one person from her past back in her life.

Hopefully those 30 minutes were just the beginning of a bigger reconciliation for the pair.
