Christina Haack alleges that her estranged husband is seeking $65,000 per month in spousal support — a request her lawyer called “outrageous.” However, the HGTV star’s estranged husband Josh Hall says that the allegations are not exactly true. In July, the couple filed for divorce — and it has been messy. The exes were meant to star in a show calledThe Flip Off together alongside another one of Christina’s exes, Tarek El Moussa, and his wife. After Christina and Josh split up, Christina and the El Moussas moved forward with the show (without Josh).

Now, Christina Haack claims that Josh Hall asked for $65,000 per month in spousal support.
In the latest drama that has resulted from their split, Christina and her lawyer have accused Josh of making an “outrageous” request. According to an October 10 court filing obtained by Us Weekly, “Josh Hall is requesting $65,000 per month in spousal support from [Christina] on a 2 year, 9 month marriage, which is outrageous when he is self-supporting.”
Haack’s attorney, Matthew S. DeArmey, said the request was “hardly good faith” given their “short-term marriage,” per Us Weekly.
The document also states that Josh does not need support from Christina.
In the court filing, Christina went on to allege that Josh does not need spousal support from her anyway because he supports himself, according to Fox News.
“[Josh] just paid $70,000 to pay off the lease on [his] separate property Bentley, and so he has no need for spousal support from [Christina],” the documents read.

Josh took to his Instagram Stories to address the allegations.
Josh, meanwhile, says that the filing is full of “lies and assumptions.” In a post to his Instagram Stories, Josh wrote that Christina’s “legal declarations” were “riddled with lies and assumptions.” In the October 16 post, he specifically addressed Christina’s lawyer, writing, “Interesting tactic for someone who is a licensed attorney and took an oath of integrity. Pretty sure making provably false statements to a judge is unethical,” People reported.
Josh previously took a stance against 'publicly badmouth(ing)' people.
Josh rarely addresses claims like these publicly, as he has a preference for “privacy,” he explained in an August 2 Instagram post. At the time, he wrote, “I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately the internet is forever.
“We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters,” Josh continued. “Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are.”
At the time, he referred to his divorce from Christina as “life changing” and “a divorce I did not ask for.”
Christina recently changed her name.
Because of the messy divorce, Christina is no longer going by Christina Hall — she has started using her maiden name, Christina Haack, again, according to People. As she promotes the second season of Christina in the Country, she is going by Christina Haack, and a press release announcing the premiere referred to her by that name.
This is not the first time Christina has reverted back to her maiden name. Her divorce from Josh Hall is her third divorce, and after her divorce from Ant Anstead, she went from going by Christina Anstead to Christina Haack again, according to People.
