Duggars Accused of Trying To Distract From New Police Drama by Sending Kids to Church

The Duggars are raising some eyebrows after an unusual weekend of activity. Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball has reported that the police paid a visit to the controversial family on Sunday, prompting a surprising move from Jim Bob Duggar that involved sending a handful of his kids off to church for a rare appearance and what she's calling an act of deflection.

Details about the church trip were shared on the Without a Crystal Ball Instagram page.

Katie Joy posted a photo featuring the famous family and explained what she'd learned about the police visit.

"So yesterday the Police showed up at the Duggar's home at 8:26 am as a follow up to an ongoing investigation," she began the lengthy post. "Jim Bob made sure to send a bunch of the kids to church to sing in the choir."

This was an unusual step for the Duggars, who haven't been seen in church too much lately.

It seems the family hasn't exactly been regulars at its place of worship recently, so having the kids show up really stood out to Katie Joy.

"Jason isn’t normally seen at services as of late. So him singing this week is kind of odd," the blogger wrote, adding that even though James normally does sing in the choir, he was nowhere to be found.

She called out Jim Bob for trying to distract from whatever was going on at home.

"Just another day of 'don't look over here, look here.' The funny part in all of this is my sources have told me Jim Bob rarely attends church," Katie Joy continued joking about the irony of it all. "JB's cult groupies all go to this church now. But JB is rarely there."

That still begs the question of what went on with police and why was it so important to get the kids out of the house?

Katie Joy shared updates while she continues to work with sources to get more info.

On Monday, she shared a screenshot from a service log that showed the police visiting one of the homes on the family's 20-acre property. According to Katie Joy, police weren't there visiting the family's main home, nor was there an arrest warrant issued for any of the Duggar clan, deepening the mystery as to what was going on with the infamous reality family.

Hopefully everything is fine.

It doesn't matter whether you love or hate the family that got its start with TLC's hit 19 Kids and Counting. It's safe to say that almost everyone is hopeful that nothing horrible happened at the house.

There are a lot of younger Duggar children and grandchildren running around that property. We hope they're all safe and that none of them are involved in whatever the mystery incident was that had police out visiting in the first place.
