Between music, movies, and TV, Hilary Duff has already had a pretty impressive career, but right now, it sounds like she's fully in mom mode. In a new cover interview with Shape, Hilary said she's in her "family making phase," and it doesn't sound like she plans to change that anytime soon!

Hilary opened up about her career in the interview.
Talking to Shape, Hilary — who stars in the Hulu series How I Met Your Father — said that even though she sometimes thinks about getting back into music, she's not fully committed yet.
"I’m in my family making phase," she said. "I built this and I wanted this and so I have to be here to enjoy the joyful and the painful and everything in between."
She is a mom to three children.
She and ex-husband Mike Comrie are parents to her oldest child, 11-year-old Luca, while she and current husband Matthew Koma share daughters Banks, 4, and Mae, 2, and that means she's always pretty busy.
"I just love watching my kids form into their own individual unique selves," she told the magazine. "I love my loud household with mayhem and the craziness and all the love and all the dirt. I love [parenting] with my husband. I love feeling like hugs and cuddles can make everything better.
"I love the pressure of being like, 'How the f— are we going to make it through this day?'" she added. "And making it through the day and being like, 'I don’t know how everyone is tucked in and fed and happy after all the things we’ve had to do today.'"
Though she acknowledges that motherhood is hard, she also calls it 'endlessly rewarding.'
"I’ve had to get really good at being disappointed in myself," she said, according to Shape. "I think that when you have a baby, you’re just wired to think that you are loaded with all the answers and all of the capability, and we’re still just human beings."
Anyone who's been a new parent before has likely had that realization!

She even admitted to making mistakes.
That included showing up to Luca's soccer tournament with him dressed in the wrong uniform because she'd missed a text message about which one they were supposed to wear that day.
"I have two other kids to deal with and three dogs, [Matthew] was out of town, I had just thrown my mom her 70th birthday, and I was a little hungover," she confessed.
In the end, it's all worth it.
But as most moms know, it definitely isn't easy — and Hilary definitely seems to be in the thick of it right now.
As she told the magazine, there will be time for other things later, but for the time being, she's all about her kids.
