Kelly Ripa is adamant about letting people know that she doesn't get lip fillers. The 53-year-old talk show host shared her secret for getting a plump pout by posting a makeup tutorial to her Instagram profile over the weekend. The tutorial came after she revealed on Live with Kelly and Mark that she goes by a lip-liner hack learned from social media in order to get the plump look she loves.

Kelly shares her routine in an Instagram video.
"No, I didn’t get lip fillers. This is the lip trick you monsters," she captioned her video. “Although I do enjoy the shape of my lips, like all women my age, my upper lip seems to be being sucked down into Middle Earth,” she mentioned in the clip before getting started on her routine.
She begins her routine.
"I'm not gonna do what I saw on Instagram, so I'm gonna show you what I've been doing," she said. She begins by using a Chanel Stylo et Ombre Contour lip crayon to trace the outline of her lips.

Lessons from kindergarten help her with the task.
"It's gonna look nuts, but just bear with me," Kelly says, jokingly adding, “Kindergarten has set me up for this because I always traced outside the lines. I couldn't get in the lines to save my life.”
She doesn't trace her bottom lip with the Chanel lip crayon.
"I don't trace the bottom line with this dark, just the upper lip," she shares as she finishes up her top lip. "Because my bottom lip is fine."
'This is where it gets really crazy.'
Kelly then takes her MAC Spice Cosmetics Lip Pencil and uses it to trace outside of the lip crayon on her top lip and to line her bottom lip. She uses the lip liner to fill in both her top and bottom lip, making sure she blends over the brown line.
Kelly says she wouldn't do the routine if she weren't on television.
"Would I do this if I wasn't on TV? No. But you can see it really makes a difference," she shared. "I'm not a makeup artist, I'm just good at doing this trick that I learned on Instagram," she added as she finished off with lipstick and gloss.
Her followers love the trick.
"You are the most beautiful woman in the world ," Kelly's daughter, Lola Consuelos, wrote.
