One of the Gosselin kids had some strong words for her famous family's haters on TikTok this week. In a new video, Mady Gosselin, one half of Jon and Kate Gosselin's pair of 22-year-old twin daughters, went after the bullies who have been attacking her siblings. When the haters take aim, it seems Mady's got her brothers' and sisters' backs!
The former 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' star was did not mince words.
Mady filmed herself as she addressed her more than 6 million followers over the weekend.
"I've been getting hate mail since I was 6, but that doesn't mean you need to keep sending it," she captioned the clip. "Learn how to respect people's boundaries and practice kindness. I bet your life will be so much more enjoyable because of it."
It seems the college student has reached her breaking point.
"This is the singular time I'm going to address this because it is sending me over the edge," she continued in her message. "The rhetoric in so many of my comments about childhood trauma and healing and whatever you want to say about my family, my life, my parents, whatever is not your business."
Mady's family has naturally been the subject of a lot of scrutiny over the years.
The Gosselins became a household name after Kate gave birth to a set of sextuplets 18 years ago. Unfortunately, the popularity of their TLC reality show proved to be too much for the family, and Jon and Kate's marriage eventually came to a dramatic end.
In the years that followed, plenty has been said about Jon and Kate, their acrimonious relationship, and how their kids really feel about them as parents.
Mady reminded her followers that her family's private lives are none of their business.
Noting how people feel entitled to know what's going on with her and her siblings, Mady reminded fans that her life doesn't belong to the public. She went on to share that her siblings are doing "so well" — despite what people may be saying to the contrary.
"They are all amazing people. They are all smart, they are all kind, they're driven students, they're working hard, they're funny, they're stylish," she shared.
Mady's the big sister we all need.
She concluded her video by reminding everyone that what she shares on social media is her choice. "You are not entitled to anything more than that," she added.
"I'm sorry if that's hard to hear but that is a boundary I have set for myself and for what I share on here about my family, and if you can't respect it then unfollow me or I'll block you."
Good for Mady! We hope people listen to what she's saying and give her and her siblings some space and privacy. She has a point — all this talk about the Gosselin kids could harm them in the future, especially as they look for jobs, partners, and start families of their own.
