Nick Cannon Claims He Had a Vision From a Spirit Who Said He’d ‘Be a Father of Many’

Over the last few years, Nick Cannon has become quite a prolific father, but according to the TV host, it wasn't all his idea. In fact, Nick has revealed that he had a "vision" that he was going to have many children … and that's not all the spirit had to say.

Nick opened up about having 12 children, making the comments during a podcast appearance.

On an episode of The Language of Love with Dr. Laura Berman, Nick revealed that he believes a "spirit" told him that he should have many children. The prolific star has 12 children who he shares with six different mothers.

"It's almost like when you have these manifestations or even these visions, if that's what we want to call them, it's like, 'Oh, that all makes sense now,'" he said. "You get them in pieces, or they're fragmented."

Nick believes he's meant to be something great.

Of course, he's already accomplished a lot in his time as an actor and TV host, but according to his vision, he's meant to be more.

"I had the vision that my name will be great as, like, the Rockefeller name," he said.

Nick also opened up about his relationship status.

Thanks to what Bre Tiesi has said on Selling Sunset this season, we know that her relationship with Nick is non-monogamous, but the level of romantic involvement varies with each woman, he said on the podcast.

Some of the ladies just want to co-parent with him, whereas others are monogamous to him — though obviously, that doesn't go both ways.

He has strong feelings about his baby mamas' love lives.

Nick said that he wouldn't want to see the mothers of his children "out in these streets," but he also doesn't think they should be in monogamous relationships with other people until the kids are older, either.

"I would hope it would happen a little bit later, once you've come into your own of what our parenting infrastructure looks like," he said.

This might be a bit hypocritical, Nick …

Nick doesn't want to be called out for the number of children he's had.

In fact, he said on the podcast that being called the "community d—" isn't funny. We have a feeling, however, that the jokes aren't going to come to an end any time soon — especially if he continues having children.

We have to wonder how the mothers of his children feel about all this.
