‘Sister Wives’ Star Janelle Brown Pays Tribute to Son Garrison One Year After His Death

Wednesday, March 5 was the one-year anniversary of Sister Wives star Garrison Brown’s death at the age of 25. The son of Janelle and ex-husband Kody, Garrison died by suicide last year, shocking his loved ones and fans of the reality TV series alike. And now, Janelle – along with other members of the family – is paying tribute to Garrison after one year without him.

Janelle shared a sweet Instagram post dedicated to her late son.

Alongside a photo of Garrison cuddling his cat, Janelle wrote, “I stay busy but in EVERY quiet moment you are first and foremost in my thoughts. It’s been a year baby. We miss you so much. I miss you so much.”

She went on to encourage her followers to donate to their local animal shelter or humane society in Garrison’s memory, adding, “This cause was close to Garrison’s heart – he adopted all three of his cats from shelters.”

Christine also shared photos of Garrison over the years.

Christine has always been especially close with Janelle, and that meant she was always close with Garrison, too, so it’s no wonder it’s been a difficult year for her without him.

“I found a video of Garrison helping me move and watched it so many times,” Christine wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “My heart aches without him and every photo, video, memory, joke, story with him in it is infinitely more precious than ever. Gosh, I miss him. I can’t believe he’s been dead for a year.”

Some of his siblings also shared tributes of their own.

That includes Garrison’s older sister, Madison, who looked back on “a whole 365 days without you.”

“Not a day goes by that I don’t miss you, Garrison,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “In the quiet moments between the noise of life, I think of you often. I hope and pray you’ve found peace, rest, and the comfort that eluded you here. Until we meet again, little brother.”

Losing a son and a brother, especially at such a young age, is so tragic, but it’s clear his memory continues to live on through those who loved him.
