Personalized Christmas gifts are supposed to take Christmas to another level. I mean, hey, this thing was made uniquely just for you (and anyone else who coincidentally has the same initials)! But you should always remember to double-check those monograms to make sure they don't spell out anything questionable, as learned recently by Reddit user Snowy_boy's mother.
On Reddit, Snowy_boy shared a photo of a monogrammed thermos that his "sweet innocent mother" had custom-made for his sister for Christmas.

If you look closely, you'll notice that his sister's monogrammed initials also spell out a three-letter word for male ejaculation. (Apparently in monogram fashion, you put the last initial in the middle and in the largest size, so her actual initials are CMU.)
Anyway, we're not sure his sister (or like anyone) will want to publicly be drinking out of a thermos labelled with "cum."
Can we take a moment to imagine Snowy_boy's sister's reaction to opening this gift up and realizing what it also read?
Then wondering how to break the news to poor mom, or else risk her asking why she's not taking it everywhere she goes.
The general consensus among commenters was that the monogram was "unfortunate" but also hilarious.

"Literally laughing out loud," another person commented.

In solidarity, others shared their own monogram mishaps.

ICYMI, DTF means "down to fuck." Also not something you want plastered on the side of your thermos. Or maybe you do. Could be a new way to pick-up new beaus? Just brainstorming here.
One Reddit user posed a very great question for all of this.

Or does this happen all the time?

While another person looked on the bright side of all of this.

That's one way to look at it.
Snowy_boy chimed in saying he and his sister still don't know if they should tell their mom.
So until then, his sister can expect to get a full range of items spelling "cum."
