Getting the perfect wedding dress for your big day is stressful. And can you believe there are people who change into a second wedding dress halfway through the ceremony? What if I told you that one woman got an entire haircut in the middle of her wedding, but when she shared her quick changes on Instagram people in the comments section were just so, so confused.
The quick cut was recently shared on the WeddingWire Instagram page.
The clip is from March 13 and showed a bride with long brown hair during her wedding reception.
“Instead of a dress change…” the video’s text overlay reads. The video then cut to another woman in an orange dress pulling out a salon cape and giving the bride a trim. “We chopped the bride’s hair off!”
The bride ends the video with hair just below her shoulders — and seemed to love her new ‘do.
“When you can keep your gorgeous dress on AND get a new do…” the video’s caption reads.
Not everyone was feeling the bride’s new look.
"Lol not if my hair is costing me $250!" wrote one commenter.
"Who the heck would want to get a haircut in the middle of their wedding day?" another commenter wondered.
Or as one commenter wrote: "What lol."
While other people loved her creativity.
"The dress and hair are gorg!" wrote one person.
"I love itttt," another commenter added.
"It’s a tradition in some Indian cultures (mostly Punjabi!) where the bride chops her hair between the ceremony and the reception to signify a bride’s new life," another person chimed in.
