Some moms are shocked to see their postpartum body immediately after birth. Although many try to embrace it and appreciate it for all it gave them, they may not be eager to flaunt their swollen bumps and ice-packed adult diapers. And that's exactly why Sarah Turner wants you to see hers. This brave mom behind The Unmumsy Mum recently gave birth and decided to show off her two favorite post-delivery snapshots that are drastically different but both prove what Super Women new moms are.
Sarah Turner recently gave birth to her third baby boy and shared two candid postpartum snapshots.
The first is an intimate photo that shows her holding baby Wilfe moments after her water birth.
The second is a raw snapshot of her "postpartum reality" with her fourth trimester belly and adult diaper.
"Apologies for the second photo if you're eating your breakfast but after initially thinking 'I can't share that!' I realised it's less flesh than it would be if I shared my 'bikini body' and represents the postpartum reality so well," she explained on Facebook. "I was absolutely euphoric at this point, despite walking like John Wayne and wearing an adult nappy. I cannot tell you how much we were laughing by this stage either, mostly at how lucky James is."

Instead of glamorizing her postpartum experience, Turner wants to empower other women to cherish every moment.
"I know it's not the *most* attractive photo," she commented. "But I felt like Superwoman at that point and so I am proud of it. Our bodies are pretty amazing."
