In 1983, Hasbro began selling the original six My Little Pony dolls in retail stores all over the world. Available in six different colors, with different names and different personalities, the dolls became a hit right off the bat. While My Little Pony is still pretty popular among kids today, the original doll line was discontinued for the first time in 1992, remade again in 1997, then finally put to bed again in 1999. Now, thanks to one genius company, the original six have been remade and re-released, and we're more than ready to blow all our money on them.
The dolls are being brought back in honor of their 35th anniversary.
In recent years, Minty, Blue Bell, Butterscotch, Blossom, Cotton Candy, and Snuzzle have been called "collectors' items," only found on places like eBay and in old thrift stores for ridiculous amounts of money. Now, they're back and better than ever thanks to a company called Basic Fun.

Anyone who owned the original dolls will definitely notice a few changes.
According to Good Housekeeping, the ponies' colors are a little brighter and their hair is way shinier than it used to be. But just like in the good old days, they'll still come with a comb and a ribbon.
All the hardcore MLP fans out there will be happy to know that the Rainbow Ponies are coming back too.
Sunlight, Starshine, Windy, Parasol, Skydancer, and Cotton Candy will be available in August, which is definitely going to give all of us something to look forward to all summer.
Needless to say, people are seriously freaking out.
For those who aren't so into the newer ponies, the originals are a breath of fresh air.
Some people are so overcome with nostalgia that they're actually getting emotional.
Everyone else is just happy to get the chance to relive their childhoods.
Basic Fun is pretty much making the dreams of '80s and '90s kids everywhere come true.
We aren't even mature enough to admit that we're "only buying them for our kids."

Just like when you were little, you won't be able to find the ponies online. But they are available at Toys 'R' Us and Target right now for about $10 a piece. You should probably go snatch some up before we beat you to it.
