Britney Spears Says She Visited Sister Jamie Lynn on the Set of ‘Zoey 102’

It appears Britney Spears is continuing to mend fences with her family. The pop star recently posted a video on Instagram, writing how she'd finally reconnected with her estranged sister Jamie Lynn Spears, even visiting her little sis on the set of her series Zoey 102.

The mother of two was all smiles as she danced, lip synced, and eventually went for a swim in the short clip she shared on Instagram.

"It was nice to visit my sister on set last week !!! I've missed you guys so much !!! Loyal girls stay home but it's so nice to visit family," she began the lengthy caption.

It sounds like the visit was part of a whirlwind trip.

Britney's post continued, explaining how she had ended up on the boat featured in the video in the first place. "This is me and Hesam's first vacation in a year," she said of husband Sam Asgardi, who she called by his full name in the caption.

"I’m so so blessed and I'm gonna play the queen of hearts now."

We love seeing happy Britney!

This news comes less than a month after another family visit.

Britney shared an update about her fraught relationship with her mother back in May, revealing how Lynne Spears had come to Britney's house for a visit, marking the first time the women had been in the same room together in years.

"My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years … it's been such a long time … with family there's always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds," she wrote at the time.

Britney has publicly battled with her mother and sister over the years.

Longtime fans know just how difficult it likely was for Britney to face her mother and sister after blaming them for playing a role in her 13-year conservatorship.

Brit's father, Jamie Spears, held a guardianship role in her life after a judge granted her father full control of her physical and financial well-being, something Britney later accused him of abusing.

Hopefully this means things are going well for Britney.

Things have been understandably tense for Britney since she came out of the conservatorship, but it sounds like she's working on moving forward with her life now and repairing all the bridges that had been burned along the way.

Britney really does deserve to have a relationship with her family — if that's what she wants, that is.
