There are some people who love summer style. These sun-loving souls are all about a tank top, some sandals, and some cute shorts. Although we're never going to be mad at a good sundress, we can't pretend that we aren't secretly looking forward to the fall fashion season starting soon! We just love the cozy ease of a pair of perfectly broken in boots, a chunky scarf, and a really stylish coat.
We're happy to spend a lot of the fall in leggings and an oversized sweatshirt, but sometimes we also want to elevate our fall fashion game. This is where we can turn to some of our favorite celebrities for some fashion inspo. We might not be able to afford the expensive designers they wear, but we can still use their looks as inspiration for how to upgrade our own looks with whatever budget we have. Now, let's just all cross our fingers that fall weather gets here soon!

Taylor Swift
Plaid is a quintessential fall choice, but all too often it gets relegated to just being for shirts. We like how Taylor Swift switches that up by pairing a black tunic-length top with some fun plaid leggings. This is perfect for a casual fall day!
Meghan Markle
Someday, we'd love to see a peek inside Meghan Markle's closet just to see how many truly great coats she owns. She is the queen… of great coats! This camel coat paired with white jeans and flats is a perfect look for that transition period between summer and fall.

Sarah Jessica Parker
OK, this is clearly A LOT of look for the average person, though Sarah Jessica Parker always pulls it off with ease. But this does inspire us to consider being a little more brave with layering multiple patterns on in the fall. There is no reason a fall coat has to be boring.
Michelle Obama
THIS is how to do fall comfy fashion! Our favorite former first lady makes it look easy to be comfortable by pairing a long cardigan with matching ribbed leggings. A long cardigan is such an easy way to elevate leggings from lounge wear to something cute enough to run errands in (or walk on the beach with a former president, which is basically the same thing, right?).
Kristen Bell
Can most of us pull off head-to-toe leather (or pleather in this case) like this gorgeous dress on Kristen Bell? Maybe not, but we can all take a fall tip and add some deep brown leather to our fall wardrobes. Some boots, a jacket, a purse? We got options, baby!
Jennifer Lopez
Also a leather icon? The one and only J.Lo. We love how she mixes black and brown with this look, and she's really kind of selling us on the idea of a cape as a fashion forward update on the traditional fall coat.
Brynn Whitfield
Brynn Whitfield is quickly becoming the breakout star of the new Real Housewives of New York City cast, thanks to her style and her talent for being a cheeky flirt. We love how this look gets a surprising pop of color from her bright blue boots.
Ashley Graham
When fall hits, we want and need the warmth of long sleeves, whether that takes the form of sweatshirts, sweaters, or T-shirts. After looking at this cute outfit on Ashley Graham, we now want those warm layers in bold colors and fun stripes too!

Jennifer Garner
Also selling us on the stripes trend is Jennifer Garner. We love that Jennifer seems like such a down-to-Earth mom, and we're also very into her bright red boots. Bright rain boots are the perfect idea for cool and rainy fall days!
Zooey DeSchanel
How many coats does any one person need to own? Whatever that number is, we need it to include enough room for at least one really great belted trench coat. Zooey Deschanel adds a bit of her quirky style with the addition of bejeweled flats, which are very cute.
Kate Middleton

As a working royal, Kate Middleton probably can't rock plaid leggings in public the way that Taylor Swift can, but she does remind us that a bright and fun plaid scarf is a wonderful way to add a pop of color to a fall outfit, especially if all the other pieces are solids.
Reese Witherspoon
If summer is all about fabrics like cotton and linen, then fall to winter is all about cozier choices such as tweeds and velvet. We love this velvet suit (which was part of Reese's Draper James line), especially in a slightly unexpected color for the fall.
Ree Drummond
Food Network host and influencer Ree Drummond proves that it is possible to pair orange and black during the fall without it screaming "Halloween." The key is keeping the orange as an accent color, which she does with this pair of cute dangling earrings.
Megan Rapinoe
People tend to think of fall fashion as having to be darker colors such as hunter green, brown, and deep red. We love all those colors, but we also love that recently retired soccer great Megan Rapinoe shows that we can layer for fall warmth while still rocking spring colors.
Priyanka Chopra
The always glam Priyanka Chopra is here to remind us all that sometimes it can be really fun to go big or go home when it comes to rocking a pattern. This gold and black floral pattern is striking but still elegant. Yeah, we'd feel pretty hot wearing a look like this in the carpool lane!
