It goes without saying that Reese Witherspoon's kids are probably going to have a cushier life than your average early 20-somethings, but fans really thought that her son, Deacon Phillippe, was having a normal college experience when he revealed he was living in a dorm earlier this year. But it appears that's no longer the case, because after Deacon gave a tour of his NYC apartment, people are calling him out for living the "nepo baby" lifestyle. Not that anyone can blame him, of course …

Deacon's apartment tour is going viral on TikTok.
Deacon, who is studying music at New York University, let TikToker Caleb Simpson give his followers a tour of the West Village apartment, and although Deacon didn't reveal his actual rent, it's clear that the place is pretty pricey just from watching the video. This is much nicer than anywhere your typical college student would live during these early years of adulthood!
The apartment features exposed brick and a spiral staircase.
In the video, we can see that Deacon's pad is pretty expansive, especially for New York City. He seems to share the apartment with a roommate, so it's not like he's keeping his good fortune all to himself!
There's no word on who's actually paying for this, of course — it could be Ryan and Reese, or it could be Deacon and his roommate themselves.
Multiple people took to Deacon's comments to call him a 'nepo baby.'
People didn't hold back when it came to their true feelings about Deacon's living space.
"Occupation: student," one commenter wrote. "Parents: Reese Witherspoon & Ryan Philippe."
"How much do you pay? The correct answer is: ask my mom and dad," another person added.

Some people came to Deacon's defense.
Not all commenters were there to call him out for living more lavishly than other college students — in fact, others pointed out that Deacon also happens to be a musician and model and that he's not the only college student who has a leg up thanks to his wealthy parents.
"Why are people being mean? He's in school. Seems humble. Has roommates. Plenty of NYU kids also come from rich families," one commenter wrote.
"The apartment is pretty small considering who his parents are, plus he has roommates. He seems pretty nice," another person shared.
It's hard to say what Deacon's *actual* college experience is like.
But considering that he's the son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, there's a very good chance that it was always going to be a bit out of the norm. In the meantime, he does seem pretty humble, which is what truly counts.
