On Thursday, February 13, multiple news outlets reported that Kanye West and Bianca Censori were headed for divorce after two years of marriage. The divorce rumors come just after a controversial Grammys appearance in which Bianca was completely naked, and an uptick in misogynistic, antisemitic, and racist social media posts from Ye.
After their Grammys stunt, Ye took to social media to boast that his wife was the “most Googled person on the planet.” But who is Bianca Censori, and how did she end up married to Ye?

Bianca was a Yeezy employee.
Per Bianca’s LinkedIn, she began working for Yeezy, the rapper’s media and fashion brand, in 2020, after studying architecture at the University of Melbourne. How did Bianca, an Australian architect who reportedly was never a big fan of Ye’s music, start working for Ye’s brand? Apparently, he slid into her DMs and offered her a job, according to a former friend.
Per Page Six, a woman who knew Bianca claimed that “Ye slid into her DMs, found her on Instagram, and said, ‘Come and work for me,’ and she dropped out.” It’s unclear when their relationship became romantic.
The couple tied the knot before they were spotted in public together.
News broke that Ye and Bianca were married shortly after they sparked dating rumors in January 2023. That month, Ye and Bianca were spotted together on multiple occasions. About a week after TMZ shared photos of Bianca and Ye enjoying a meal together, the tabloid reported that the couple had secretly tied the knot at some point prior to that outing.

The relationship wasn’t totally a secret.
Though the marriage seemed sudden and came as a surprise to many, a song that Ye released in December 2022 seemed to reference his wife. The song was titled “Censori Overload,” an apparent reference to Bianca’s last name. Ye shared the song via Instagram on December 7, 2022, before later deleting it. TMZ later reported that Ye and Bianca obtained a confidential marriage license on December 20, 2022.
In October 2024, they sparked divorce rumors.
At the time, TMZ reported that Ye and Bianca seemed to be struggling with relationship issues. Bianca reportedly took some time apart from Ye and visited her family in Australia. According to the tabloid, Ye had plans to move to Tokyo. However, it was later reported that Ye and Bianca had spent several months traveling to different countries — including Japan — together. They then celebrated the new year and Bianca’s 30th birthday in the United Arab Emirates.
They appeared on the Grammys 2025 red carpet.
The appearance went viral, as Bianca took off a long fur coat to reveal a completely translucent dress that exposed her entire body. Bianca’s outfit garnered a lot of criticism — much of which was directed at Ye. On social media, people accused the rapper of “parading” his wife around and “bullying” her.
Ye and Bianca sparked divorce rumors again.
On Thursday, February 13, multiple outlets reported that Bianca might file for divorce soon. One source told the New York Post that Bianca has “had enough,” claiming, “the swastika shirt was the last straw. She told him that’s not who she is, and that she can’t be associated with that.”
However, Milo Yiannopoulos, a representative for the couple, later told The Hollywood Reporter that the rumors were not true. “Ye and Bianca are in Los Angeles, about to enjoy Valentine’s Day together,” Milo said.
