In February, Ashley St. Clair said she welcomed a baby with Elon Musk five months prior. Now, the conservative influencer says she’s starting a podcast because of her “many questionable life choices” … and the way they ultimately led to her financial ruin, apparently. In a podcast clip that has since been deleted, Ashley said she doesn’t think her “big-brain thoughts and [her] podcast mic are the greatest gift to humanity.”
It’s quite the opposite actually. “I actually think I have the worst ideas, so consider everything out of my mouth a cautionary tale,” she asserted.
Fittingly, her podcast is called ‘Bad Advice.’
On Monday, Monday, August 18, the 26-year-old shared her podcast on X. In it, she explained what motivated her to start one. “After a year of unplanned career suicide, many questionable life choices and a gap in my LinkedIn profile that cannot be legally explained, I’ve decided to start a podcast,” Ashley said.
She added, “Also, I’m getting evicted. Polymarket offered me $10,000 to do an ad read, so with that, the roof over my head has been brought to you by Polymarket.”
It’s not the first time Ashley has hinted at the Elon drama affecting her finances.
In April 2025, Ashley claimed that Elon withdrew child support payments to “punish” her for “disobedience.” She said she had to sell her Tesla “to make up for the 60 percent cut that Elon made to our son’s child support.” When a Daily Mail reporter asked her if Elon was being “vindictive,” she said, “Well, that’s his modus operandi, when women speak out.”
Elon then responded to a clip of the interaction shared via X, the platform that he owns. “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed,” Elon wrote. “Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”
But Ashley publicly fought back. “Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused,” she wrote in response. “And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary …”
Previously, she claimed that Elon said he wanted to have ‘a legion of kids.’

After the birth of the baby, Elon only visited the child a few times, according to Ashley. During that time, however, he allegedly sent her a series of disturbing texts. In November 2024, Ashley reportedly sent Elon a selfie. In response, he wrote, “Hi cutie.” She responded with, “See u soon.” Then, Elon allegedly wrote, “I want to knock you up again.”
In February 2025, he reportedly spoke about having more kids once again. Ashley claimed that she texted Elon explaining that she “would appreciate being able to speak to [him] in person.” Elon allegedly responded to Ashley’s long paragraph with, “Hmm ok.” Then, Ashley sent Elon an “alrighty then” GIF. “Well, we do have a legion of kids to make,” he allegedly wrote back.
Ashley later said Elon tried to bribe her to keep quiet.

At this point, Ashley has spoken up about Elon on multiple occasions — but it sounds like he didn’t want anyone to know they had welcomed a child together. Ashley told the Wall Street Journal that Elon allegedly offered her $15 million, plus an ongoing monthly payment of $100,000 in support, to not say anything about their son. However, Ashley didn’t want their child “to feel like he’s a secret.”
