Elon Musk Tried To Bribe Ashley St. Clair With $15 Million Plus $100k in Monthly Support To Stay Quiet About Their Son

In February 2025, a woman named Ashley St. Clair first revealed that she welcomed a baby who was fathered by Elon Musk, but if he had it his way, she never would have spoken publicly about their son at all. A new report claims that Elon offered Ashley millions to keep quiet about their shared child, and apparently, she’s not the only one who Elon has attempted to pay off like this.

The Wall Street Journal shared a report about Elon and his baby mamas, with a special focus on the newest one.

Ashley is a 26-year-old conservative influencer who recently welcomed her first baby with Elon – a son she has now revealed is named Romulus – after they began getting to know each other through DMs on X. Less than a year after they started spending time together in person, Elon suggested they have a baby, who was conceived during a trip the former couple took to St. Barts.

Though Elon didn’t acknowledge his son when Ashley first started talking about his parentage on X, WSJ reported that a LabCorp test has shown that his “probability of paternity” is 99.9999%.

Elon attempted to keep Ashley quiet about their baby.

Ashley told the newspaper that Elon’s fixer, Jared Birchall, reached out to her to warn her against going “the legal route” when it came to Elon and child support, telling her that it “always, always leads to a worse outcome” for the mothers of his children who have done that.

Instead, Elon wanted to offer her $15 million, plus an ongoing monthly payment of $100,000 in support, to stay quiet about Romulus, but Ashley told Jared, “I don’t want my son to feel like he’s a secret.”

Elon tried to convince her that not sharing the news about Romulus would keep the baby safe, because Elon was “#2 after Trump for assassination.” But ultimately, she didn’t sign the agreement – both because she didn’t want her son to feel like she was ashamed of him and because there was nothing put in place to protect her or Romulus should Elon die.

He tried to control the way she gave birth.

Ashley told WSJ that Elon had some very specific ideas about the way their baby should come into the world. He told her that he wanted her to have a c-section because, as he once shared on X, he believes the surgery “allows for a larger brain, as brain size has historically been limited by birth canal diameter.” He also didn’t want Romulus to be circumcised, which was an issue for Ashley as a Jewish person. He also wanted his name left off the birth certificate.

Ultimately, Ashley retained her own attorney, and when Elon stopped responding to her text messages, she decided to take the news of their baby public.

Since then, Elon has reduced her support payment to $40,000 monthly. After the Wall Street Journal reached out to him about the story, Ashley’s next payment arrived late – and it was only $20,000.

Elon has been open about having as many children as possible.

Ashley told the newspaper that Elon told her he has a goal of having enough children that he reaches “legion-level before the apocalypse,” and he has also tried to reach out to other potential mothers of future children on X, including influencer Tiffany Fong.

So far, Musk hasn’t spoken out about the report.
