By now, you’ve probably heard about Kris Jenner’s recent facelift that has her looking around the same age as her daughters. Well, fans had to do a double take once again when Kris unveiled another dramatic transformation. To some fans, she looks like the spitting image of her daughter Kim Kardashian, even at age 69. But others think she’s really doing too much at this point.
On October 8, Kris took to social media to show off her blonde hair. Immediately, she received comments like, “Who is this? Kris? Kim?” And while many of her followers were impressed by how amazing she looked as a blonde, others were more skeptical. After all, can’t a woman just look her age?
Some said it’s actually ’embarrassing’ how afraid she is of aging.
Kris certainly is not the first woman in the spotlight who has taken dramatic actions to avoid looking her age, but although there are plenty of fans who say they want a facelift just like Kris’, there are many others who find it “disturbing.”
One fan even accused Kris of “losing touch with reality.” On Reddit, someone else wrote, “It’s one thing to add a filter or whatever, but she tries to make it look like she’s 30 years younger. It’s so strange to me. Like we know you’re 69 Kris, you already look good for your age you don’t need to be doin all of this.”
Another fan added, “It’s sad how afraid they are of aging — I may never have even a portion of their money and privilege but at least I’m not afraid of looking my age.”
A few people actually felt sorry for her.
When Kris shared her hair transformation on Instagram, she probably wasn’t expecting sympathy. But that’s exactly what she got from some fans who think it’s sad how much pressure she must feel to look a certain way, even though she’s almost 70 years old. “I feel like she’s genuinely having a crisis about aging and trying to convince people she looks 35 but it just looks so obviously fake, like we know you’re approaching your 70s and that’s ok!” one person wrote. “It’s just sad to have lived the life she has and still is obsessed with aging.”
Another fan chimed in with, “I think it is ridiculous that a 69 year old woman looks like this! I have no problem with a little correction here and there, but this is insane and sad, that she thinks she need to do this to herself.”
To some, the transformation is proof that money is a powerful thing.
On Instagram, some fans have wondered what Kris’ secret is — how does she manage to look so young? “How is she thisssss perfect,” one of her fans questioned. But several other people were confident that they knew the answer: Money.
To one fan, the transformation serves as evidence that “money truly CAN buy anything.”
While most people are probably aware that Kris shelled out a decent amount of money to look the way she does, many still praised her for the “iconic” look.
