Angelina Jolie’s High School Classmate Claims He Sold Her Drugs

You never know when your past is going to come back to haunt you. Angelina Jolie’s high school exploits are coming to light after rapper Mickey Avalon admitted to selling her drugs when she was in high school. During an interview on the FACTZ Podcast, Mickey briefly recalled their encounter, telling host Nik Richie that he gave her methadone pills.

The conversation seemed kind of like a joke.

"I think the last time we spoke, I think you were selling drugs to Angelina Jolie back in high school," Nik joked.

Mickey clarified the comment, telling Nik "I wasn’t selling drugs. I think I gave her some of my dad’s methadone pills."

Even though he claimed that he likely "gave" her some of the pills, later in the interview he changed his tune a bit, saying that he "probably sold them for $5 or $10. She could have given them to her boyfriend. Like who knows?"

Angelina claims she's 'lucky' to still be here.

Angelina has talked about her struggles with depression, eating disorders, and drug abuse in the past. She claimed to have tried "just about every drug possible" in her teens and early 20s.

"I went through heavy darker times and I survived them," she said in an interview with 60 Minutes back in 2011.

"I didn't die young, so I'm very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn't survive certain things."

She said she did the 'worst.'

Although she didn’t want to go into too much detail, she was very clear that it was quite a time for her.

"I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst — and for many reasons I shouldn't be here," she said. Angelina was notorious at the beginning of her career for being a bit of a wild card.

"You think of those too many times where you came close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too far," she said, explaining that the "bad girl" part of her wasn't going anywhere, even if she had gotten better at keeping it in check.

Her mom's protection is what helped her survive that time.

Angelina also was open in the past about the boyfriend she had in high school that Mickey was likely referring to. Even though she was only 14, her mother let her boyfriend move in with them while he was dating Angelina.

"When I was 14, I was either going to be reckless on the streets with my boyfriend or he was going to be with me in my bedroom with my mom in the next room because I was going to have a boyfriend," she explained in a 2003 interview with Cosmopolitan.

"She made the choice, and because of it, I continued to go to school every morning and explored my first relationship in a safe way. So in some strange way, she really did the right thing. It kept me out of trouble."
