Beyoncé and Blue Ivy’s mother-daughter moment at the Grammys is going viral — and it's not what you might think! After the duo was caught on camera exchanging a look as Dua Lipa danced in front of them, the footage of the moment is going viral, and it has people divided. Was this just a harmless glance between Blue Ivy and her mom, or are those eyes saying something that neither of them would say out loud?

It only lasted for a second, but what a second it was.
The moment in question came during Fantasia Barrino’s performance. While Barrino and singer Dua Lipa are dancing together at the table in front of where the Carter family was seated at the ceremony, Blue Ivy turns to her mom, and Beyoncé ducks her head while smirking.
The moment is now making the rounds on social media.
A Grammys viewer recorded the moment from their TV and shared the video to X (formerly Twitter) for everyone to see. "Blue Ivy and Beyoncé exchanging glances after seeing Dua Lipa dancing," the person wrote in the tweet, adding a crying emoji.

For many people, the moment felt relatable.
"I can see Blue and her mama having inside jokes about these people 24/7," one person commented.
"This why they won’t let her be friends with north," another wrote, referring to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's eldest daughter North West.
"This that oldest daughter mom connection … cuz if this ain’t me and my momma," another user replied.
Others came to Bey and Blue's defense.

While some people may have perceived it as shade, others think that Blue had different motivations.
"To me the glances look to be about the fact that Fantasia and Dua Lipa both turned their attention to the next table aka Beyonce’s table," one person wrote. "Blue maybe didn’t want to dance & was nervous or wanted to dance & looked back for reassurance. So many people projecting their meanness."
"Fantasia was walking past Beyonce at the time and she didn’t want to be chosen to dance," another said.
Some people were upset by the suggestion of the two being 'mean girls.'
There were others who didn’t like the fact that anyone saw the interaction as anything other than a harmless moment between mother and daughter.
"I really don’t think there was any shade," one person wrote, while another added, "I hate when y'all project your mean girl tendencies on random people because they were not laughing at her at all."
The only people who really know what was going on in that moment are Blue and Beyoncé … and maybe it's for the best if it stays that way.
