He was previously arrested in February.
Bryan was previously arrested in February 2024 on a felony DUI charge and misdemeanor contempt of court charge, per Entertainment Weekly. In July 2023, he was arrested on charges of felony assault, third-degree robbery, and assault. He served seven days in jail, along with being under supervised probation for 36 months, after pleading guilty to felony assault in the fourth degree later, according to People.
Bryan was also arrested in 2020.
In October 2020, Bryan was arrested on a felony charge of strangulation and misdemeanor charges of assault and interfering with a police report. In February 2021, he pleaded guilty to menacing and to assault in the fourth degree constituting domestic violence, per People.
“An investigation found that during the dispute Bryan is reported to have assaulted the victim, impeded her breathing, and taken the victim’s phone from her when she tried to call 911,” a Eugene Police Department spokesperson said in a statement at the time.

He previously opened up about the 2020 arrest.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Bryan discussed his 2020 arrest, saying it “got so blown out of proportion” by the media. He also claimed that it wasn’t as physical as the police report claimed it was.
“We didn’t even really get that physical. We got really loud. We were screaming and because we were in a townhome that had [thin walls], everybody could hear,” he said. “At the end of the day, [the police] throw a bunch of counts at you because they ultimately want you to plead to something. I could’ve fought it … but that’s more stress and drama. I got two misdemeanors and called it a day.”
He described that incident as a 'wake-up call.'
“I thank God for that,” he said at the time. “I went through a situation that I’m sure plenty of people across the globe experience with their partners, and that was a learning experience.” He also admitted to having a drinking problem. “I definitely have an issue with drinking,” he said, adding that he doesn’t believe the term “alcoholic” applies to him.
Bryan started drinking at an early age.
“Dude, I started drinking when I was 14,” he said. “Back then, I was going to nightclubs and they would just let me in because I was the kid from Home Improvement. But now, I try to stay away from it. I’ve just kind of disengaged. I’ve got my routine, I’m not going out and getting lit, and that takes away a lot of problems.”
