Katherine Schwarzenegger & Chris Pratt Are Expecting Their Third Child Together

It's always exciting when a celebrity couple is expecting a baby. Although most fans don't personally know the stars, plenty of them get invested in their lives via social media in addition to their favorite TV shows and movies. And recently, folks were thrilled to learn that Chris Pratt's wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, is pregnant with their third child.

As a recap, Chris and Katherine met through church in 2018 before marrying in June 2019. They welcomed a daughter, Lyla, just over a year later in August 2020, followed by another daughter, Eloise, in May 2022. Additionally, Chris shares an 11-year-old son, Jack, with his ex-wife Anna Faris.

News of Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger expecting their third child dropped in late June.

On June 28, a source confirmed to People that Katherine was pregnant with their third baby. Neither the expecting mom nor Chris has publicly acknowledged the news thus far.

Recent photos of Katherine conveniently avoided showing her mid-section from the front.

Katherine posted Instagram photos of her family enjoying the outdoors on the same day the pregnancy news broke. In the images, however, her mid-section from the front was not visible, as she had her back turned away from the camera.

Other images from a few days earlier didn't allow for a bump angle, either.

On June 24, Katherine shared another set of family photos from a trip to the zoo. "When it finally feels like summer>> ☀️ ," she captioned the update. Only one shot showed the 34-year-old, and it was again a snap of her from behind.

Previously, Katherine hinted at wanting more kids.

Shortly after welcoming Eloise in 2022, Katherine opened up to Us Weekly about wanting more children in the future. “I come from a big family, so I love the idea of having a lot of kids around and a big family,” she told the news outlet. “Whatever God has in his plan for us is what we’ll do."

Chris recently shared the main difference he's noticed in raising his daughters versus his son.

"I hate to make generalizations based on gender but, in my experience, girls are more emotional," he explained. "They've got me wrapped around their finger. It's wild."
