Prince William & Kate Middleton Are Reportedly Arguing About Where Prince George Will Go to School

The older that Prince George gets, the closer his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, get to making a big decision about their future – one that they reportedly can’t seem to agree on. According to what one royal insider told Fox News Digital this week, Will and Kate are really butting heads about where George should go to school, and the argument has reportedly created a “huge dilemma” for the royals.

British broadcaster Helena Chard told the news outlet that amid all of the speculation about where George will go to school, his parents have hit an impasse.

It seems that the big debate has been between the school where Kate spent her formative years, Marlborough College, and the school that both Prince Harry and William attended as teens, Eton College.

“The discussions have been circulating for years, with the Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly arguing and debating the decision for years,” Helena said. “I’m surprised the bookies haven’t initiated a bet on which school Prince George will attend next autumn!”

Considering how “unhappy” some members of the royal family have been with their secondary schools, it seems Will and Kate are being extra careful not to put George in the same position.

King Charles was very unhappy at Gordonstoun. Eton wasn’t suitable for Prince Harry. Even Princess Catherine was bullied at a secondary school. Therefore, she is committed to securing the perfect fit for Prince George,” Helena told the news outlet. “And let’s face it, the world is their oyster – they have the pick of all schools.”

Because George is going to be king someday, Helena doesn’t seem too convinced that Kate is going to win this one.

“Eton College, the Berkshire-based school that educates boys aged between the ages of 13 and 18, has several high-profile alumni and has educated generations of the aristocracy,” she told Fox News Digital. “Referred to as ‘the nurse of England’s statesmen,’ the school is the largest boarding school in England, ahead of Millfield and Oundle.”

Another royal expert, Ian Pelham Turner, said Kate is pushing for a less “stuffy” school in the hopes that George can avoid bullying.

“Kate favors a more relaxed education for George rather than the structured life at Eton which, although it has many opportunities, is steeped in tradition,” he said.

September will be here before we know it, so Will and Kate are running out of time to make their decision. It’ll be interesting to see where George ends up.
