Bride Tries To Shame Wedding Photographer but People Clapped Back So Hard She Deleted Her Account

A bride and groom, seemingly disappointed in their wedding photos, took to TikTok to complain about the photographer. They apparently expected TikTokers to side with them, but as their video quickly went viral, the internet sleuths got to work. Bride Austyn Mae posted photos of her wedding to Trent Moser taken by photographer Madison Wood. The couple wasn’t impressed and shared text that read, “When you were so excited for your reception pictures, and this is what you got back.”

The pics they posted weren’t fantastic, but as we should all know by now, the internet is filled with nosy people, ready to stir things up. Many looked up Madison’s work and found the full gallery from the couple’s wedding. It got messy fast.

The couple got quiet as call-out videos began to pop up on TikTok, wondering what Trent and Austyn’s endgame was. First, Austyn turned off comments on her video, thinking that would settle people down. It didn’t work. Instead, TikTokers took screenshots and recordings of Austyn’s video and reposted them with the couple’s gallery of gorgeous pictures.

A TikToker named JJ, who posts as @atrustedadult, was one of the most vocal. She shared a partial screen recording of Austyn’s video along with other pictures from Madison’s gallery that the couple decided not to share. JJ’s video also went viral with 2 million views, prompting Austyn to request that she remove her video. She commented, “ This is my content. Take this down.” JJ refused, pointing out the irony of the situation.

As she put it, Austyn didn’t want the negative attention but ended up bringing a lot of negative attention to Madison. “I wonder what you thought was going to happen to the photographer when you put out your version of that story,” she said in her video. “If the photographer was receiving all the negative attention and then was bullied into giving you the refund you said that you wanted, would you still have this energy?”

JJ tells CafeMom that the story escalated so quickly. “I’m not surprised at all, honestly. People don’t tolerate that ‘mean girl’ energy so much anymore.”

Austyn ultimately blocked JJ, but the drama didn’t stop there. As social media got loud, Madison entered the chat.

She posted a now-viral video on her TikTok, @madisonnwood, captioned, “Just wanted to thank everyone for the kind words & offer my side never thought it would get to this point.”

The photographer went on to explain she had been talking “offline” to the couple, whom she never named, before things blew up. She knew they were unhappy with some of the photos an associate photographer took. Madison said she offered Austyn and Trent plenty of options to make it up to them, including editing, raw photos, and a refund.

Madison claimed this was not required of her based on their contract, but she wanted her clients happy. Instead of taking her up on the offer, Austyn took her displeasure to TikTok.

The bride allegedly told Madison it wasn’t her intention to smear her, but tagging both Madison and the associate photographer from her wedding seems to say otherwise. Madison received tremendous support from people who looked at the gallery of photos, such as this person who wrote, “I’m so sorry this happened to you. Totally unacceptable to take it publicly when it’s been handled in private – that’s a bully. You handled this so professionally and like a total champ.”

As of now, Austyn has deleted her entire TikTok account, but her wedding photos and attempt to shame Madison are everywhere.

As JJ tells us, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. “The internet is forever! The second you post something, it can be saved, screenshotted, and shared. And it doesn’t just come back to you, but anyone linked to you!”
