When it comes to giving birth, a lot of women like to have a plan. These moms know what they want and how they want it, and some spend their entire pregnancy preparing so their birth is precisely how they want it to be. Being prepared can give a mom a sense of calm when her life is about to change forever. Although we can spend months planning, however, babies simply donât give a darn.
Analysia Beck of Wisconsin knows this all too well. When she was 38 weeks pregnant with her son Micah, she thought there was plenty of time to get things in order before his arrival. Micah had other plans, though, and decided he wouldnât wait two more weeks. He didnât even want to wait until his dad got him and his mom to the hospital. Micah was born in a McDonaldâs parking lot during a blizzard.

Already a mom of two, Analysia didnât realize she was in labor.
Analysia, 25, told Today she had sons Jayce, 3, and Aubriella, 17 months, at home and wasnât expecting to go into labor early. She went to bed around 11 p.m. January 11, feeling some mild pain, but she thought that it was just Braxton-Hicks contractions and went to sleep. She awoke a while later to sharp pains and her water breaking.
The mom knew it was time to go. She told Today sheâd never seen her husband, Daniel, drive so fast.
Although his dad drove really fast, Micah wouldnât wait.
Analysia told the news outlet that she soon realized Micah would be born quickly and that they needed to stop.
âWe were in the car for like two minutes when I was like, âDaniel, you have to pull over, I feel like Iâm sitting on the babyâs head,ââ Analysia said. âAt that point, I knew he was coming, and we werenât going to make it to the hospital.â
She climbed into the back of the familyâs SUV while Daniel called 911. It was 3:55 a.m. in the middle of a blizzard, and the mom was ready to meet her baby.
Micah was there before they knew it.
The mom of three pushed just three times, and her baby was born. Thankfully, the paramedics made it in time and helped catch the baby. She said he was blue, which made her nervous.
âI think it was because of how cold it was â snow was blowing into our car and it got on his face,â Analysia told Today. âLuckily, he was totally healthy and everything was fine. He passed all his tests at the hospital.â
The experience was one she will never forget.
Analysia shared the joyous news of her babyâs arrival on Facebook. Baby Micah weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. He was a healthy, beautiful boy.
âIt was terrifying, traumatizing, and painful giving birth all natural with no meds/doctors and seeing him come out completely blue because it happened so fast and literally in the snow, but heâs doing very well now and all we can do is praise and thank God for protecting us!!!â she wrote in her post.

The little guy quickly had a sweet nickname.
Because he was born in the snow and in a McDonaldâs parking lot, the family has been calling him âMcFlurry," his mom wrote on Facebook. She added, âyes we also realize the irony of his name being able to be shortened to âMICkey Ds.â
Friends shared well-wishes with the new family of five.
âOmg Congratulations even in the midst of what seemed like âchaosâ you got such a beautiful such a blessing in the end. Gods blessing for a safe recovery and time resting for you and baby mama,â a friend wrote.
"Oh gosh Lesi! What a grand entrance indeed. Congratulations and enjoy your little blizzard blessing," another comment reads.
