I Took My 7-Year-Old for a Mommy & Me Spray Tan – I Don’t Care What You Think So ‘Mind Your Business’

Childhood only lasts for so long, and then our kids are all grown up. As moms, we want them to enjoy every moment, and we savor the days, letting them be little. Sometimes, our kids want to grow up a bit faster than we’re ready for, so it’s our job not to rush things. It can be a lot of fun having a mini version of ourselves to tag along for all of our favorite activities. But is it possible to introduce too much too soon? Some people certainly think so.

Noel LaPalomento, a 28-year-old influencer from New Jersey, boasts 2.6 million followers on TikTok alone. She often posts content with her 7-year-old daughter, Giada. The pair are the best of friends and enjoy doing hair, makeup, and nails together. Recently, LaPalomento posted a video of herself and her young daughter headed off to get spray tans.

“Mind your business. It’s just sugar and water,” LaPalomento says in the video.

She and Giada then hit the tanning salon to get their bronze on. The mother and daughter clearly had a good time, but a lot of people in the comment section didn’t love this idea.

“Make her… go outside… go swimming..? Do KID things,” someone suggested.

Others were flabbergasted by the fact that Giada is so young.

“she does not need a spray tan. she’s SEVEN,” one commenter wrote.

“‘Kids grow so fast nowadays’ uhmm idk cuz you let them? Shes 7 she doesnt need a spray tan,” another person agreed.

But some commenters think LaPalomento was doing what she wanted with her own daughter, and that’s just fine.

“No one needs a spray tan indeed, it’s not a matter of need but more of a little mother daughter fun thing they want to do together! People need to touch some grass,” a supporter wrote.

Others believe getting a spray tan was better than risking the dangerous rays of the sun.

“This is way better and safer to teach her than a tanning bed. we love to see it,” one fan wrote.

“The people in the comments can stay mad. spray tan > risk of skin cancer,” another person agreed.

LaPalomento doesn’t care what the haters say and clapped back plenty of times in the comments.

“She sees me use spray tan sometimes it’s not that deep lol,” she responded to one critic’s remarks.
