Jill Duggar Dragged After Video Of ‘Hack’ She Learned From Michelle Duggar Resurfaces

The internet remembers everything, and 19 Kids and Counting alum Jill Duggar is the latest to find that out. A video that she shared on her vlog in 2018 has recently resurfaced and fans are dragging her all over again.

In the video, she shared a stroller “hack” that she had learned from her mom Michelle Duggar, and it’s incredibly unsafe.

The video is short, but impactful.

“I do this all the time with my umbrella stroller and my baby's car seat whenever I know I'm going to be at like a tight space,” she says in the video. “I just take my umbrella stroller and put the car seat on it, and it makes for a nice small single stroller.”

She then demonstrates how the hack works by taking the handle of the car seat and putting it “all the way” back. Then she slides the handle of the car seat over the curved handles of the umbrella stroller, placing the car seat in the seat of the stroller.

This is beyond unsafe, and should never be done.

The comments on the video have been disabled, probably because Jill got absolutely dragged for posting a “hack” that was so unbelievably dangerous. But the video and the “hack” came back up recently on the Duggars Snark Reddit board and people are dragging Jill and her parents all over again.

The post, titled “Remember the Duggars stroller hack to save money?” featured a screenshot of Jim Bob Duggar using the hack to push infant Josie around.

'They aren't known for safety.'

Of course, the comments are filled with people who are horrified by the idea of placing children in such a dangerous situation.

“The Duggars are not known for car seat safety,” one person noted.

“All that desire to pump them out nonstop but no desire to provide even the basics," another commenter wrote. "That 'hack' looks like something a toddler playing house would come up with.”

'They're just too cheap.'

Quickly, the conversation turned to when Jill shared the hack herself.

“I remember when Jill shared this she got absolutely roasted on her instagram," someone commented. "No one else does this, it’s not safe for a baby or comfortable for any adult to push. They’re just too cheap to buy a gently used travel system."

The Instagram post about the video has since been taken down because of all of the comments people made telling her that the hack was unsafe.

'Shouldn't the baby have a hat on?'

Another commenter on the Reddit thread wrote: “i remember when jill posted this hack back in 2018 ("my Mama taught me this trick about infant car seats!") and good housekeeping ran an article dragging her, lol.”

Jill’s ability to protect her kids came up again recently when she shared a picture of herself out in the family's yard with her youngest son, Frederick, strapped to her back. Eagle eyed fans noticed the 1-year-old didn’t have a hat on.

“Come on Honestly I’m a nurse and you need to have hats on babies while in the sun!" one person commented. "I’m not a hater I’m just stating facts!”

Many others agreed with this advice.
