Britney Spears’ memoir The Woman in Me was finally released this week, and it seems very few of those close to the singer were spared from her brand of radical honesty. She gave her in-depth feelings about her relationships with her family, living in the public eye, and being a young woman in the entertainment industry.
Her romantic partners were also the subject of many pages, especially her relationships with Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline. She also discussed her relationship with her estranged husband Sam Asghari, but despite their pending divorce, she had nothing but good things to say.

Sam was touched by what Britney said about him in her book.
"To be honest, that made me smile," he told TMZ of finding out that she'd called him a "gift from God."
Sam also said that he is "freaking proud" of Britney for putting herself out there and telling her truth by releasing her book. "I hope she takes over the world," he added.
Despite their pending divorce, Britney spoke highly of Sam and their relationship.
Could their impending divorce play a part in why Britney was so nice?
TMZ claims that Britney speaking so positively about Sam could have to do with the fact that they reached a settlement in their divorce, or are close to reaching one. There’s no true way of knowing since neither Sam nor Britney have spoken much about their divorce since Sam filed.
The pair has stayed relatively quiet about their divorce proceedings, especially with the release of the book.
Sam filed for divorce in August, 14 months after he and Britney tied the knot in June 2022. They became engaged in September 2021 after five years of dating. Britney had Sam sign a prenup before they got married to protect her assets as separate property. At the time of the divorce filing, there were reports that he might try to contest the terms of the prenup, but no word on whether or not he actually did.

Not all of Britney's exes are reacting so positively.
Sam’s reaction to Britney’s book is certainly different to the way her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake reacted after she went into detail about the downsides to their early 2000s relationship, including the fact that he pushed her to get an abortion while they were together. Justin has turned off commenting on his Instagram account following backlash from Britney’s supporters.
