‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Shares Scary Story of an Attempted Break-In at Her House

Jenelle Evans’ streak of bad luck continues. This week, the former Teen Mom star took to social media to share the story of how her home was recently broken into. The break-in comes after reports that she and her husband David Eason are heading for a divorce after she reportedly kicked him and his daughter Marysa out of her home. Her 14-year-old son Jace seems to be living with her again after he was removed from her home during a child protective services investigation after David was charged with assaulting the teen. According to Jenelle, Jace was present for the break-in, and the police are looking into the whole ordeal.

She claims to be 'afraid of the dark' since the break-in.

According to Jenelle's TikTok video, the break-in occurred on Saturday, February 24. She claims that her Ring camera alerted her to activity around 1 a.m., but ignored the alerts at first. It wasn’t until her dogs "began going crazy" that she decided to go investigate what was happening. That’s when she found a man "yanking" her sliding door and trying to break into her home.

She wasn't alone in the home.

Jenelle then said that she woke up Jace, letting him know that someone was trying to break into the home. The man kept trying to get into the home as Jenelle called 911. "It was the most terrifying conversation I've ever had with 911 in my life," she said.

Eventually, the intruder was able to break the lock on the sliding door, but was unable to get in thanks to a security bar Jenelle put in place.

Jenelle said she'd release the Ring camera footage in another video.

"My 14-year-old son saw the whole thing with me and this man that we had no idea who he was," she claimed, adding that she had "never been more terrified" in her life.

She also claimed that she had a gun on her when the incident took place, but didn’t want to use it and make the whole incident "more traumatic" for Jace. She never mentioned if her other two children, Kaiser and Ensley, were in the home at the time of the incident.

Apparently, the man eventually noticed her and Jace, apologizing and telling them "I'm so sorry! So sorry! I didn't mean to be here," before disappearing into the woods behind their home.

Some people were sympathetic to her pain.

Many of her TikTok followers were concerned about her well-being after the scary incident.

"That’s terrifying honey I’m so glad you and your babies are okay," one comment read.

"Girl you cannot catch a break … Sending so much love and strength!!" another person wrote.

"The feeling of being unsafe in your own home is the WORST feeling," another commenter added. "So sorry you had to go thru that."

Many people think she made it all up.

Over on Reddit, fans are calling shenanigans on her allegations and think she’s faking for attention or to distract people.

"She had no problem pulling a gun out when she was in the wrong why wouldn’t she whip it out when she’s actually being threatened," one person wondered.

Another shared: "Not once did she mention how scared she was for the younger kids in the house, or how they handled the whole ordeal. It's all about how it affected her, and Jace by proxy because that was her only source of defense."

"I love how she had the throw in there that it wasn’t her husband," another wrote, referencing the part of the video where she said the intruder wasn’t her estranged husband. "B—- yes it was. She is so predictable."
