Bride Vows To Kick Out Guests ‘With a Net Worth of $5M’ if They Don’t Give a Pricey Gift

We all know that one person in our lives who went a little overboard for their wedding. Maybe they spent thousands on getting the venue they couldn’t afford, demanded that all of the bridal party dye their hair pink, or maybe, just maybe, they were like one bride on Reddit, who vowed to kick out certain guests if they aren't going to bring her an expensive gift.

A screengrab of the bride-to-be’s tirade was captured and shared on r/bridezillas — right where it belonged.

The bride (whose name was covered in the photo) wrote that anyone younger than 30 could attend her wedding “for free.”

“But I [swear to God] if a couple over the age of 50 with a networth of over $5 million gives us under $200 for a wedding gift, we’re instructing the ushers to kick them out,” she added.

“I will go bridezilla over this,” she pledged.

“Bonkers that another wedding culture was getting shoved on me and yet I didn’t say S— about how the groom’s family is supposed to pay us a dowry of thousands of dollars,” she added.

We can only assume that is in reference to her future husband’s family.

"Her registry also includes 100k+ for a house down payment," wrote the person who shared the image.

People in the comments section were stunned.

"How rich are the people coming to THIS wedding?" one commenter wondered.

"Is she opening the gifts at the door with a bouncer? lol" someone else joked. "Every wedding I've ever gone to, gifts aren't opened until after the reception or the next day."

"Groom needs to bolt!!!" another person wrote.

Others couldn’t help but make a few jokes.

"Must we include our W2's/tax documents with our RSVP?" one commenter joked. "What a lovely bride."

"Hahahahha — there is a wedding I’m not attending lol," someone else mused.

"She sounds like a real sweetheart of a bride. Isn't her groom just the luckiest man!!" another commenter added.

Later in the thread, the OP wrote that it was one of their sister's friends that was getting married and agreed with all the commenters: This wedding was going to be rough.

"[For real though.] My sister isn’t gunna go but I told her if she did there was a chance the bride would be like 'I don’t like your dress. LEAVE,'” OP wrote.

"I was also asked to take this post down bc she’s concerned the bride will see it," OP added. "I think the bride sucks so I’m leaving it up."
